MC909 as Midi Controller.

Hey there, I have a quick question that I hope someone can help me out on. I have sequenced a song on my MC909 but did not like the internal sound that I ended up using on my track 5. I was actually considering purchasing another SRX card for more sounds but have opted to use the sounds in my Korg Triton LE instead.
Here is my question: I have figured out how to set up the midi so that it controls the sounds on my Korg, however, how can I get the initial sound in the 909 to be silent? I basically want to use the information I recorded on my 909, but without hearing any sound on the actual system. Tried an INIT patch and still hear sounds. Is there a way to silence that track without silencing my Korg? Thanks for any help and in the meantime I will keep trying to find a solution.

Hello,
In the patch editor screen set the EXT/IN/BOTH to EXT, but if You already hear the patch just set the patch to srx (if You don't have an expander) and it will be silent, turn off the notes 1-4 also (but its just for safety reason).
Anyway, why don't You sample the Korg patch(es) and use them as samples ?
Or resampling the whole track as sample (around 3-4 audio tracks is fine if You have 272 MB RAM ) and just use the bounce technique for free up some space.
