Hi everybody!
I'm new to this community, I'm Nick and I can't figure out a few things with my Juno-G.

It's about samples management: I'd like to know if it's possible for the Juno-G to automatically load ONLY the samples included in a song... For example, I have 50 samples and 25 songs, each song has 2 samples in it... I don't want the Juno-G to load all 50 samples just for opening the 2 I need for my song.

FYI, to load the song and the samples I usually go to Performance - Song - Save/Load - Load Song+Smpls.

If this is not possible, what do you usually do? I also thought about renaming every sample and manually loading the ones I need (via Audio - List) but I can't figure out how to rename them...

It is not possible to load samples only related to certain songs or patches. If loading 50 samples is too long for you, you can split your work into several cards.

Oh, to rename a sample, you can simply re-write it to it's original location again, you'll be prompted to give it a name.

Splitting work in multiple cards is a good solution, I didn't think about it!
Anyway my problem is not waiting too long for all samples to load, but the error it gives when the memory gets full and it doesn't load the samples you need..

Thanks again, I'll consider both options: splitting the work in multiple cards or renaming all samples and manually loading them everytime!

Hey but did you expand the sample RAM? Without a DIMM memory board, it's only 4 MB, very little for real-world sampling. Check out the micro manual sticky post for the details on the RAM expansion.

Yes I have but I've only had a 256MB module around so I put that one inside!

And apparently 256MB aren't enough for 50 samples...
