hey guys. finally got my v-synth xt last night. i had already purchased a 1gb kingston compact flash card, not realizing an adapter would be needed to fit into the slot on the synth. will this product (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16820300905) work? if not, can someone point me to an adapter i can order in the united states? thanks!

Well I cannot see it state it's a PC card to CF adaptor. This one is the one you need: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006B9QD/ref=dp_cp_ob_title_3/103-1350180-4731812.

Go to Guitar Center. They have a PCMCIA Compact Flash adaptor for about $10 to $15.

Well ram is cheap these days.. So why not go for a 4 gb card instead..
I asked Roland support here in DK about what card to choose. They told me the V-Synth supports Type I cards and only in normal speed.

Can anyone confirm this?

I couldnt find anything bigger than 4gb here in dk (Type I normal speed) so that´s what I´m going for ;)

there are a lot of cards out there which are multiple voltage types so just grab a card which is compatible with mulitple formats if your confused.
