well, same thing here with the Yamaha but I was expecting @ summer namm not this early in the year. well, smart competition to go head to head on synth which most likely summer time. Just caught up in the countdown and ridding along and boom....crashed expectation. LOL! now come to think of it, Roland still on the Hedge.

Only one really exciting development in music tech recently and thats Spectrasonics Trilian. Did arty have anything to do with the patches this time I wonder.
As for the Fantom G, like the Fantom X before it, it will come of age 4-5 years after release. The Fantom X is a great buy now, loads of expansion boards, fully updated OS, A rack mount version and plenty of 3rd party software.
I guess early adopters like us Fantom G owners keep companies afloat, but those that buy second hand end up with more "Bang for their buck"
Still I do like the big screen and some nice sounds, Live mode is good.
I'd buy another fantom X in a breath though if I had the space as they are great especially the Arp you could fully edit.

ok!V-combo VR700 with a retail price of little over 2grand, I now wonder if it worth it. Not sure if the brass and E piano is supernatural. OK these should be @ least worth $700. The waterfall plus 76 keys- guessing around $600.
The RD700 piano sounds which may as well SRX price tag $260. the rest $150. pedals up to150. $1,860.00 mmmm I guess its about right. Now the question still remain. Supernatural technology or not? well, sounds like its not but just a combination of old Stock pile sound from there top sound I suppose.
Now this will worth around $1,799max to me @least. Wait a minute. No screen. -$200 now its $1,599.
128 polyphony plus USB alright +100 so it now $1,699.00 35lbs now uh -$50 which might as well include shipping to retain the $1,699.00. so what else.... FG disappointment now that's a -$400 value so might as well V combo VR700 include the Vp-7 equal to satisfy customer @ $1,600.
now if this is too low than is too bad... should @ least gave us module or 2 ARX.

branko, I feel your pain, I was there once too. But there is no patch coming now for at least 6 months so for now we'll have to do with the status quo.

I don't know...It would be pretty hard to match Chic's Passion about things.

I would say it resembles Chic, but not in the same league. ;-)
