Let me first say hello. I am new here and terribly glad this site exists. I just bought a Fantom G8 and some other modules I picked up on e-bay. Specifically I have a Motif Rack, Roland XV-3080 and a Roland JV-1080. I am currently using the Fantom's sequencer for some production. I have the MIDI out of my Fantom going to the IN on the Yamaha, then THRU to the JV-1080's IN, then the 1080's THRU to the XV-3080's IN. When in studio mode the JV-1080 plays constantly. I cannot seem to stop this. I know there are some settings I need to adjust. Am I on the right track? Am I totally off the mark? Do I need to turn some channels off to some devices? Right now I have the Motif set to receive on CH1, the JV-1080 on CH2 and the XV-3080 on CH3. I thank everyone in advance for their help and have a happy Holiday!

use the arrow buttons on the mixer to move to the midi mixer and check if any midi channels are on
