Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how to import songs "SVQ" from my X6. I have tried USB, hard disc etc, but can't seem to find a function on the G to load a song from the USB stick, neither can I find the files I dragged into the G folder from the desktop of my MacBook Pro. My songs from the CX are all saved in SVQ format. Thanks for any help!

No, you can't do such a thing because the two svq formats are totally different. They are not compatible with each other. The only way to import Fantom-X songs (MIDI data only) is to convert them to SMF files and import them into Fantom-G.

ask a X user to help you... ... it can be hard.
I had a fantom-xr , but if I can help you, send them to me.
The problem is , I hope you didn't use SRX, because I don't have nothing.

When I did the songs on the X, I used no SRX expansion cards and did not use any audio files or samples. All the info is midi (I guess). When I saved the songs, I used the "save all" option.

You said it is possible to save the songs in the midi file format on the X? I still have the X and the songs saved in it. How do I do it?

it´s simple
in the fantom x
when it say save song just select save as midi file format 1 because format 0 save all in one track. and it appears down I thought in the buttom f6 or f7 and remember assign the programs change and Sys ex ....etc or later assign it in fantom G but the secuencer for this situation it´s better the fantom X

excuse me I don´t Know how do you work
when you make transfer svq to midi you can lost some
programs like the sound assignments that you use for example:
bass in first track
2 -piano
3 string etc
when you save this in SMF (Standard Midi File) you can lost the program example:
1-piano
2-piano etc
because of it you must to make this program change
but try it without these programmings it not always happens

Thanks everyone for the help. I went back to the Fantom X and saved everything as midi files. Worked like a charm!
