Hi,

I would like to record a note sample of a fab four vst instrument, then to save the sample as a wav file and sample it into the fantom G.

What is the best way round this. What can I use to record the sample vst note from my computer to the fantom G. I dont want the hassle of having to carry a laptop round with me in order to play the vst instruments on a live performance.

Thanks.

the best auto-sampling vst is extreme sampler converter.

My own style is to export from Cubase, the C , Eb, F# and A from each octave as wave and load them in my fantom-xr, and ... the usual staff for programing sampling...
Notice that, every new VST (as I've heard) has a hidden frequency, and if you don't have licence for that vst.. isn't good.
I can't tell if is ok to pay a studio for 3-4 hours and then "sample" de vst in those hours ;)
I had a big problem once, for hire 2 hours and one of them was used to sample all the synths... (just one hour, until the engineer understand what I was doing... and throw me out)
I was young and crazy ... it was about 7 years ago...
