Really nice UI you have there Luc! Clean & simple, the way it should be. For AIFF check out the wikipedia article and its external links, there should be the format details there.

Really good work. I wish i could make my own software...
Is it possible to import more diferent multisamples, so the card could include more patches eg CP70 and Mellotrons and Others on one card? I know that the Samples need a long tome to start up loading, but i dont want to swap cards for each and every instrument.

Hi Luc,
that really looks fine, seems to be good work. I will try it the next days.
I also dislike the SRX board "Ultimate keys" more and more. So what is the manufacturer of your CP-70/80 sounds? And can you recommend me any good Rhodes/Wurlitzer samples to replace the board?

I've enabled multisample and added 2nd beta on bottom of the previous blog article. I also added an optional source filter.
I bought the Prominy PCP-80 and so far didn't have a lot of success transferring it correctly to 4 velocity levels but then again there are a lot of files to filter from. So maybe with bit more work I should get a good sound.
Potentially Hollow Sun's library might be easier to transfer with only 2 layers (with using free Chicken Sys translator to read the Akai format). I believe it also comes with a free Rhodes but no idea how good it is.

There is also a free 4 layer multisample of CP-80 that I have converted to Fantom for my own use:
http://www.sullivang.net/samples/cp80.html
About 44 megabytes, gigastudio format, so it will need special software to get the samples out. If anyone is interested I could ask the author a permission to upload the Fantom format samples.
best regards
M.Z

You could try free translator to load GigaStudio:
http://www.chickensys.com/downloads/translator_free.php
Otherwise CDExtract will work to get the wav samples (but not free).
My sample import worked fine to keep original key of all the extracted wav files. Also creating multi-samples worked fast. Only problem is that I get weird velocity levels on the Roland so I probably need to select different velocity levels.

@Luc,
When I try to use your Sample Loading software when I click the Import button I always get an error message. Is there a limit to the number of samples I can import at any one time?

There's no limit but make sure you use latest v4 and process might be bit confusing:
Import sample
1. Choose sample(s) on the left (use ctrl or shift key to select more than 1)
2. Select only 1 destination on the right that has enough contiguous space for the selected samples. For example if you selected 2 stereo samples you need 4 empty slots from the destination you selected (otherwise you get error).
If that's not the issue let me know the error message you see.

Hi Luc,
I'm getting the same error on my Windoze Vista laptop and on my XP desktop when I try to import multiple samples. Here's an image of the error message:
 .
Any ideas?
Regards
Andy
