Here is a free sampleset of a Yamaha CP-80 Electric Grand Piano. It was originally recorded by Greg Sullivan for Gigastudio. I have converted it to Fantom samples and they now contain their root key and loop point data.

You can load them manually in to your Fantom, or you can try Luc's new sample import tool:

* YAMAHA CP80 ELECTRIC GRAND *

I have converted these CP80 samples to be used in Fantom X/S. The samples were originally recorded by Greg Sullivan for Gigastudio software sampler. This archive has a total of 81 samples in four velocity levels (pp, mp, f, ff).
They contain the original key and loop point data. They will require at least 44 Mbytes of RAM to load.

1. Copy the samples to: CARD / TMP / AUDIO_IMPORT

2. On the Fantom, go to sample list or sample edit screen, hit [MENU], choose "Import Audio" and press [ENTER].

3. Assign the samples to 4 different multisamples (pp, mp, f, ff)

4. Remember to write the samples before powering down!

5. Place the multisamples to a patch. I recommend using the patch "PR-A:010 FS E-Grand" as a starting point.

I know it may sound stupid but... how do I save the "new" samples? (in order to change their status to "unload" / "load")
Still struggling to find the copy function... (I mention I put the imported samples in the audio temp folder on my CF card as specified in the readme file).

LE: nevermind, I need to press "write"... :)
