Hi guys,

I've had my Fantom-X8 for a few years now and it has sat in its place in the studio and never been moved.

Today I noticed that keys C#2 - G#2 always play at 100% velocity (hardest) no matter how lightly I touch them. While the notes around them will respond to touch properly.

I've tried a factory reset but that didn't work. Has anybody heard of this happening before? Is there anything I can do?

Hey Kris,

If a factory resert doesn't fix it, it sounds like a hardware issue. Hopefully it's something simple (& cheap) like key contacts.

I would suggest taking it to your nearest service centre to get it checked out.
