Hi all,
Well, after having my Juno for a while i caved into the lust and found a Fantom G6 and so far am delighted with the decision.

I ran into seemingly a bit of a problem with pads.. I was using the pads setup to control rhythm patterns and selected rhythm pattern set 31 (fanx rhythms)
when i start with pad1 (phrase 501 basic rock), then transfer to pad4 (507 basic fill) and then back to pad1, the handover from fill to beat is not handled correctly... the bass drum is missing.

If however i load phrase 501, phrase 507, phrase 501 into a song track it plays exactly as expected. beat>fill>beat.. so the cause is not the phrases themselves.

edit
>to add to the confusion, if i record onto a song track and use the pads to switch between phrases as before then it also is correct.. <

SO i am confused, the issue appears only when using the pads "live"..

can anyone help?.. thx

Well this is definitely seems to a bug,

its just unclear whether this is a bug in the phrases, the OS or the hardware.. as i do not know how the synchronisation of pads to sound generator and sequencer is organised.

The individual phrases 501, 507 (from the fanx set1) appear to be ok when viewed in microscopic mode, but the handover from one phrase to another is not done on the transition of a measure.

Again note
1. insert the individual phrases into the sequencer and its ok
2. Using the pads to initiate phrases into the sequencer while recording, it sounds correct also
3. simply use the pads to pay the phrases, as in jamming with friends and it is corrupted by about 1/2 beat.

Also note this is not a valid statement for all rhythm patterns.. i have tried a couple of others and they seem ok.

Does anyone in the collective wisdom here have any ideas?
