Re: Deleting SMF's

Found a workaround! Obviously you cannot delete them directly from the SMF-list(?), but if you use the ' file utility' you can delete the smf's from the project folder.

Deleting SMF's

Hi all,

maybe I'm overlooking something very obvious, but how can you remove smf's from the G' smf-list without being connected to the pc?

Hold pedal release time setting?

<t>Hi all, <br/> <br/> as i was looking at the used voices screen i noticed that when using the sustain/hold pedal the number of used voices increase a lot, almost to the maximum. When just playing the G this is no problem at all but when using in combination with the sequencer i notice a lot of unw...

Continuous rythm and switching live sets

<t>Hi all, <br/> <br/> I don't know if the following question is a known issue, here it comes: <br/> Last week during rehearsel with the band we did not had a drummer, so i thought I assign the a rythmset to the pads of two different live set's (so twice the same rythm set). <br/> <br/> What happens...

Re: 1.50 Patches disappear after loading backup project

<t>Hi, <br/> this is due to the fact that you did a backup of the project before the installation of v1.5, so it does not contain the patches etc. which are being installed in this version. <br/> <br/> If you want to merge it you must use the Fantom G Librarian to exchange live-sets etc, and then re...

Re: How are the pads of the Fantom G

<t>The idea behind the pads is very well thought about, but the reality is that using the pads is a real nightmare, because it looks like they have a mind of it's own. Sometimes, you press the pads it will not trigger at all, another time they will trigger twice..... For me I must say, unfortunately...

Record in a single phrase isssue

<t>Hi all, <br/> <br/> I'm trying to record all my sounds in one phrase, but here's what I'm experiencing: whenever I start recording, the sequencer will record a new phrase (after i've switched to another part/sound). So everytime I have to manually select the phrase again on which I want to do my ...

Re: Fantom G gets beaten up by Motif XS????

I am not stating that the drums on the G are bad (in fact I like them a lot) but if you compare the acoustic ones with those of the XS in real honesty (and i do not like to admit) but those on the XS do sound more like a acoustic drums.

Re: Fantom G gets beaten up by Motif XS????

<t>Yesterday I went to the music store and cheated on the G: tried out the XS again (because was long time since bought the G). Apart from the G'sfantastic sounds and intuitive and clear screen there were two things which I think were in favour of the XS:<br/> <br/> 1). De (acoustic) drums on the XS...

Re: ROLAND CONNECTS! Here is the line-up! Thoughts?

<t>I really don't understand why all this pooha was necessary for those non-spectaclulair products.... Roland could easily put it on their websites without all this countdown and mistery stuff.... I was expecting someting spectacular to happen or being announced. That's what so dissappointing to me....

I wonder what the .... roland has connected then, a bunch of disappointed people? Really a waste of time, money and energy which IMHO they had better spend on perfectioning my prescious G
