Re: Summer namm 2014

GW, BK series are cheap plastic arrangers. Same old sounds and some good drums kits. But no sampler. The sampler is "a must" for many arranger users. Why? Because they want to add instruments, voices, or other sounds (drums) recorded live or from other rare synths/keyboards. But still the ...

Re: Fantom X Aspect ratio Display Fault

Maybe you didn't make the connection ok?
The data cable must be shorted somehow, not all the pins are connected??
Check the data cable, pin by pin, with a measure device.

Re: Fa - export audio multi tracks

Yupe! its all realtime as I pointed out before the FA was released so yes exporting tracks is as follows.. <Song Length> x <number of midi tracks used> = <total time to export> Time to sit down and drink a BIG pot of Coffee ( to keep you awake while you wait LOL ) Or Just take yourself a quick powe...

Fa - export audio multi tracks

I have a question.
Exporting multitrack audio inside FA, is taking long? is it in realtime?
I mean, if I have a 3 minutes 10 midi channels song, it will take 3 x 10 = 30minutes, for exporting???

Re: Preserving samples from romplers

Extreme Sampler Converter, is a very versantile software.
It can be set to sample it self, with many velocity option, a vsti, or an external keyboard/module.

Re: Questions about the FA-08

one option to get "new drum patterns", can be searching on internet for free styles Roland Styles, and get the Roland Converter, that can export/import midi files from/to styles. That way, you can export from a style to midi file, and then import only the midi channel you want (10 for drum...

It's hard to say something, without people judge your opinion. So: 1. Did Artemyi FORCE someone to buy anything? No. 2. Did Artemyi work on those micro manuals that are FREE? Yes. So his time, his life were spend for helping. 3. Does this forum , Roland Clan, cost ? Yes. The Forum is hosted on MONEY...

Re: Digital vs. analog question

and the BIT resolution (8/16/24/32bit) is the number of ??? ;) Sampling Frequency is as important as Bit Resolution is... Bit resolution is very important, because on 16bit you can have a dynamic range of ~96dB, and on 24bit ~144. So under the 96dB , there can be some reverb, sounds that will be &qu...

Re: Digital vs. analog question

The thing is.. ... what ever you will do, you will still go to the final product: 16bit / 44100Hz as audio track on a CD. :) So the most listen medium as fas as I know, for the moment, is Audio CD. Yes, the internet is full of mp3, of itunes tracks, but, as an artist, a release is made on Audio CD. ...

http://www.earthinfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/dsc05105-300x233.jpg you see the X on the capacitors ? (I called the condensers, sorry, it's capacitors). If the X is up, the head is bumped, and you can see it in the image as the images.. it may be the problem. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...

Re: LOUD white noise at random X7

open it, see if a condenser is down... It may be a condenser that is working / not working arbitrary... It should be one of the big condensers on the sound card (where the jack connections are). If the condenser is bumped (the head has a liquid that overflowed), go an electronical engineer to change...

Re: Midi Connection Issue with Reason 7 / Fantom X8

Try to uncheck on Fantom's System > Midi > Soft Through. It's posible that Reason is sending back midi input and receive again the same note (midi loop). Another thing, maybe you are sending 2 midi channels in the same time? Are you working from patch mode, or mixer/performance mode? In mixer/layer/...

Re: Polyphony problems?

Maybe that's how the program/patch is made?
Maybe it has a fixed polyphony? even in the Scene?
I don't know Integra, but on my Fantom-X, I can choose how many notes a channel could have.
Maybe that part is set to a lower number of notes ?

Re: MOXF vs Roland FA06/08

Anyhow, if you are not looking for arps, what are you looking for in a keyboard which would help you decide between the two keyboards? I'll say SOUNDS. Tones of SOUNDS. And sequencer. And (not in this case) Sampler. But the sounds are the most important "thing" on a keyboard. What I didn'...
