Upper & Lower

I probably should know this & probably did at one time.

But, in reference to the "Upper" part & the "lower" part on the Jupiter is that in reference to a keyboard split?

Re: Fantom G Successor...I need one bad

I need more than the 16 tracks tracks that the Fantom X offers Right.. So since you already have the ipad.. you could simply connect it to the X via midi and use the ipad 16->unlimited midi/audio tracks offered to add those extra tracks needed and control/record/play external gear and/or the fantom...

Re: MC 505 info.

I bought an MC-303 a couple of months ago.... love it. It's so simple & quick to work on.

I don't know what the upgrades were to the MC-505.

I'm glad you're having fun with your new gear.

Re: MC-808 with Roland JP8000

The way I understand it, is that the parts are hardwired to the midi channel of the same name. Part two will transmit on channel two. I don't think you can change that. So You'd have to set your JP-8000 to receive on whichever channel that corresponds to the bass part of your pattern. On page 70 of ...

Light weight & cheap

Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a VR-09. However, I'm concerned about it's build quality. It appears to be built similar to the FA-06. So I figured I'd ask you how long you've had your FA & what you think about its build quality. So what do you think, is it light weight because it's chea...

Re: The Death of Roland Clan

Great idea, Thunderkyss, and thank you for posting and keeping the place alive! It would be great to create competitions with the Roland's gear involved, share our music and ideas with each other, recording tips and tricks, share the presets and the things that inspire you. -- Denis Agreed. I've go...

Re: Hammerhead?

It would really all depend on what synth you were to attempt to recreate it on... Sorry but the architecture of a DX7, a Minimoog, a Wavestation, a Prophet, a Virus, a Triton, etc... Are just so vastly different it's impossible to address your question. Easy answer is get a Jupiter 80 Probably what...

MC-303

Got one coming.

I couldn't resist, found one on eBay, just browsing around. Couldn't talk myself out of it for $176 buy it now, including shipping.

I'm out of control here. Bought a Prophet 08, Arturia's minilab, Alpha Juno 1, Novation Remote Zero & Stillwell Audio's Olga last month.

Re: The Death of Roland Clan

Say... I've just recently been hanging on the KVR forum & they have some things going on over there, that I think helps bring in traffic, if any of you are interested. They've got this OSC thing, One Synth Challenge, where a bunch of them download a particular virtual synth & make a track wi...
