playing an endless chord
Hi, is there a way to let a note/chord play endless no matter what you do in live or single mode. For example: I want to press 1 on the pads (or any other key(s)) and a chord with a soft pad sound starts playing. During that time I can play whatever I want (e.g. solo), use the hold pedal etc. withou...

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
<t>@branko: I was thinking of that and my plan was to add this feature in the last release. There is just one problem: I will most likely get into trouble with my hoster as the site is currently hosted on a shared webspace. To solve this problem I was thinking of different solutions - my last was to...

Absolutely. Although I think it should copy faster

Some posts in this thread and the faq-section in the archive explain how to get the patches to your fantom using the editor software.

Re: Possible to make Custom OS (3rd party "firmware"
<t>As derek sais, it is possible, but a bunch of work. Take the Xbox360, Wii or PS3 as an example. They are all working more or less like a PC, theyve been sold a LOT more than the G and it tough took a lot of time to make it possible to run alternative software on them, at least, software that dese...

Re: Favorites Up/Down
<r>The Favorite Mode needs some enhancements, thats right. As I use the Fantom as a Live workstation I have programmed our songs by saving one song per bank. The problem is:<br/> what to do when playing more then 16 songs? and: what if a song has more than 16 patches?<br/> In most cases the 16 bands...

Re: G8 to G6 users
<t>The G8 is way to heavy, but as I started with classical piano, I dont like unweighted keys. Tried it several times, but never got familiar with it. I'd also say 61 is sufficient in the many cases, but as I usually play compley livesets using the whole keyboard I'm really happy to have 88 keys. So...

Navarin.de upload don't work for me for some reason, when I try to upload the SMF midi file, it says that "your sample file must be an mp3 file." as labled in the upload form (including a typo... ;) the sample is a mp3 file so others can listen to it before downloading. NOT a SMF midi file.

something in between. i use it rarely. never as a synth, but as bend down/up. and only live so our singer can play with it a bit during a keyboard solo just for the show
