Re: Jupiter-X: Photos Of The Inside

Yeah, the gaps in the casing around the mod/pitch wheels certainly *do* leak a lot of white-hot light. How easy was it to open up the X to do your mod? Seems like a great idea!

Re: how to make SNA reverb level match PCM reverb level?

Two other options to consider for getting reverb more “wet” on the SuperNatural sounds that I’ve tried: 1) use an external rack reverb :) 2) physically route one of the sets of output channels to the Integra-7’s audio inputs and add additional reverb from the Integra as if you were using an external...

Re: How to set up Integra 7 on Logic Pro as AU

Here's a quick outline of the way I have mine setup... It seems like it is simple to do, but many of us have been doing this MIDI stuff for a long time (in my case over 34 years!), so we sometimes forget how complex it can be :) 1. First, create 16 MIDI tracks (one for each channel) and assign the M...

Re: JU-06 / Ableton via MIDI interface not working

Could you not use USB for MIDI but not audio and then route the analogue output jack via something like a Behringer HD400 hum destroyer (cost £20). CB Not sure. Thought those hum destroyers and the stuff from Ebtech were for ground loop / 60-cycle hum, and that the USB noise is a different beast. F...

Re: JU-06 / Ableton via MIDI interface not working

Thanks a lot for your answer. That makes sense. What I find strange is that I can control my ju-06 from ableton via the midi out of my audio interface (motu ultralite mk3). It works perfectly fine. Since I have 3 boutique synths, I would like to control them all at once using live. This is why I bo...

Re: JU-06 / Ableton via MIDI interface not working

Hello Boutique users, I recently got a hold of a JU-06. I'm sending midi notes to the JU-06 with ableton but I'm not getting any sound out of the JU-06 this way. My midi signal is going through my midi interface into the midi in of my JU-06 (midi via midicable, not usb). My interface is definitely ...

Re: TB 03 copying patterns

Hi, What I have noticed is (in Write Mode) if you select a blank pattern next to the one you want to copy, switch to Time Mode, and press Button 9 (transpose down) 16 times, it replicates the pattern to the left of it. This is only useful if the pattern next to the one you want to copy is blank. I ...

Re: TB 03 copying patterns

1) It sounds bloody lovely Ditto! 3) The wave switch feels/looks a bit flimsy Seems solid on mine..? 4) Effects - distortion is nice if not cranked up too much, Delay seems useless at anything over 1/4 of max setting. For me it's a bit extreme. Totally agree. I can't find a satisfactory setting for...

Re: Argosy Dual 15K-803

I was going to say if you go to the Argosy site, they have other rack configurations available for the side pods which are more vertical, but it looks like that is no longer the case. Many years back I worked at a media production studio and had a Dual 15K that had two straight-up racks on either si...

Re: Need your feedback on the Boutiques

Positive: Sound quality! Improvement(s): Ditto on the CC mapping, of course... but I'd also like to see some improvements with the MIDI clock implementation. It outputs a MIDI clock stream constantly, and always runs the sequencer when it receives clock, which is not always what I want. The constant...

Re: Integra 7 Reverb Question....

Here's a clear demonstration of exactly the problem you are talking about: https://youtu.be/qLLhd2yyawE Really wish that this is something that can/will be addressed in a firmware update. SN voices simply can't get the reverb "wet" enough for my liking, and it seems like a really strange o...

Re: New firmware upgrade for Integra-7 when?

We have no real proof before they release it, but it is already being announced by Roland Japan here Fantastic news! Especially after seeing this once translated: Not only SuperNATURAL sound, it can be edited almost all parameters PCM synth, of PCM drum! It supports editing of controller settings a...

Re: Any XV5080 users now using Integra-7?

Wasn't a 5080 owner, but came from an JV/XP/XV/Fantom background, so was familiar with the structure going in. I too, purchased the I-7 *mainly* for the XV Legacy sounds and the SRXs and consider all the other stuff to be really, really nice extras! As for the editing... well, it's a mixed bag. The ...

Re: Couple of Axial Bank & FX Questions

Have I done something wrong or are they supposed to sound (or not sound, as the case may be) as they do? I've gone through these patches numerous times, and though there were a couple I liked within the set, I quickly realized that I will never find a use for such grating/noisy sounds. You're not d...

Re: IYO Just how good are the SN Acoustic Instruments?

I've used a bunch of SN acoustic sounds from the Integra on various videogame productions over the last couple of years. Some thoughts: - think the acoustic guitars and similar "world"-type plucked string instruments are the best there are on a rompler right now. Very playable with some ni...
