ok, thanks. I will check out M-Audio. I don't know what an enigma editor is. :)
EDIT
HMMM, I tried changing the Velocity Curve but that doesn't seem to change it. Do you know how to change the Master Volume CC?

MIDI Controller Volume
I get plenty of volume out of the little rubber built-in keys but my Oxygen49 MIDI controller never seems to be loud enough. Does anyone know how to achieve parity with these volumes?
Thanks,
Eric

can't apply compression to a part in a pattern.
So I'm working with a factory pattern (US) User 290 "Breakbeat Drum 6." I like it but I've had to manually turn up the drums on the mix output because it just isn't loud enough. I'm working on a copy of it I made on the Card so I can do all the stuff I need to do... and no matter what it t...

saving routing changes on Patterns to Songs?
If you change the routing (from Mix to Direct) on a pattern, do you need to re-sequence the Songs in which want that routing change to occur?

Re: Normalizing song volumes?
Yeah I am doing that on several and not only does the compression change the sound of the drum but on some, it is just not enough to get where some others are in volume. It is a challenge.

anyone?
**just bumping this**
I am manually redoing all the parts volumes and re-sequencing the songs. But it'd just be good to know going forward.

Normalizing song volumes?
<r>ok, I actually searched for this one a little bit before asking.<br/> <E>:)</E>)<br/> <br/> So, I have a couple dozen songs I've created on the 808. But I've noticed because of either style, compression, or other variables, there is a noticeable volume disparity in some of them. The quietest of t...

Foolproof method for attaching to Remote Keyboard?
Guys, about 50% of the time I end up scratching my head and cannot get the Oxy49 to make a sound on the 808. Can someone give a step-by-step description of how to connect a remote keyboard to the MC-808? Please include the order in which you power up each device, connect cables, at what point you ch...

Changing a drum part in a pattern?
<t>I have a pattern I am working on, after nearly finishing, I find I do not like the snare sound for this piece. I know I can scroll through the snare menus and the snare that is played on that particular note in each menu can be sampled by rotating the value wheel. But I want to change from a snar...

How do you find the Quantize info later?
Is there a way to find the type, timing, velocity information if you have quantized a pattern and did not make note of everything you did?

Going to buy one of these today.

ok, I got it and it works great. My sliders obviously effect the synth envelopes but have not nailed down what does what.

thanks, (I am back)
I cannot seem to get my old account working (doombilly). Anyway HNY! We're ditching our human drummer and reverting back to "Roland" to handle our beats and sequences.
