yeh i know about the pg 1000 but its out of my price range hence the bcr, i am currently using a computer based editor but i want a hardware interface.

you dont know wich sysex commands controll whihc parameters of the 50?

i had a go but i didnt really acheive anything
also any one know of a cheap alternative to the pg200? got a jx3p and id like to be able to tweak the filters live....

<t>ive did all that at the time, and it still didint work, the sh 201 respeonds find to sequences eing sent from the dr5, but the arpeggio, when clock source is set to midi, doesnt respond :S<br/> <br/> i guess it must be the DR5 but ive been thru all the menues and i cant see any reason why it wont...

i dont know, but i think thats the problem, any ideas of how to test if it is? or make it send midi clock?

i use a boss dr 5 to sequence my sh 201, but i cant get the arpeggio to to the timing of the DR 5, i have set the the time source on the sh 201 to midi, and it doesnt work.

any ideas?

sadly not hence the problem. also is it posible, wen using the sh 201 as an adiuo interface for recording, to only route the extrnal input thru the interface and send the aduio of the synth to a mixer but not have it being combined wiht the audio input that is leaving via usb?

is midi thru possible?

i use a sequencer (hardware not software) to control my sh 201 and id like to be able to use the 'midi out' port of the sh 201 as a 'midi thru' for other hardware midi devices.

can this be done
