Are anyone else's buttons off centered on their Fantom-0?

This is very minor and doesn't bother me, but I may have to sell my Fantom-06 and am wondering if this isn't normal and something I should mention in the description. Does anyone else have their buttons a bit off center? All of my other Roland boards are dead centered so it's not what I was used to....

Re: Upgrading from the Juno-G to Fantom-06

I've made this exact jump as well! Bought a Juno-G new back in 2008 and this is my first Roland workstation since then. I think the 06 is a great upgrade to the Juno-G. The sound quality increase, even the same patches, is pretty substantial imo. It has a much more clear and defined sound. I always ...

Re: Fantom-06: My first impressions

I've had my Fantom-06 for about a month and a half so I figured I'd chime in with my first impressions after some use (and I'm still far from an expert): Workflow : I'm already getting around pretty quick on it. Editing is fast and I like how the shift + button can get you to screens quick. The sequ...

Re: Red light

First thing I did was turn that light off. I'm glad Roland had the good sense to provide that option.

Re: Tutorials For New Roland Users

I believe that any tutorials for the regular Fantom should carry over to these pretty well if not entirely.

Re: Fantom-06: My first impressions

Good to know. I think if there's plenty that can be done with the buttons then it'll be fine. I'm looking forward to this one. It'll be quite a step up from my old Roland Juno-G!

Re: Fantom-06: My first impressions

Thank you for the first impressions. I have one on pre-order and my biggest concern was the display as I have chubby fingers so you confirmed my fears somewhat. I was hoping for the stylus solution as well. Please let us know which stylus you find ends up working! It looked to me like you can adjust...

Re: Still using Juno-G?

I'm still going strong with my Juno-G for 11 years now! I haven't replaced it. I played with a Juno-DS and I feel like parts of the interface is a step backward. I like to program my patches from scratch and the Juno-G has just enough knobs to make it easy and quick. The Juno-DS just lost a couple b...

Re: Time for a new screen?

you're wrong ;), replacing my LCD from roland for the ....third time! was a battle with them! even if they know it's a manufacturing default of the LCD. (now they have built a new LCD but you must pay for it (so pay to solve their manufacturing quality problems). this new LCD requires a firmware up...

Re: Time for a new screen?

When my screen died, it just became jumbled where pieces would be out of place. One thing I once heard was that all original Juno-G screens are destined to fail so it's a matter of when not if. Roland has been very cool about this for original owners (considering it was a pretty bad screw up) coveri...

Re: What are the new Roland covers made out of?

Thanks for the detailed replies! These sound like really high quality overlays and a pretty much complete solution (ie not obviously an overlay once applied) to the glossy panel.

What are the new Roland covers made out of?

They look really nice and give a totally new look the JD-XA. I'm curious if anyone knows what they're made out from?

Can Juno-G transmit control changes?

I'm using the Juno-G as a controller for a desktop synth and I need to make some control changes to CC90. Can the Juno-G do this? I can't figure it out from reading the manual. Granted, I know very little about midi so any help would be great! Thank you!
