shutting rotating speaker effect off on the fly
<t>I still often feel like a newbie with the Stage, despite having had it for a <br/> year, so this question may have an obvious answer. <br/> <br/> If I set my MFX for 21 (rotating speaker) and set S1 as the control, then <br/> pressing S1 alternates the speed of the rotating effect. Is there a way...

Re: Juno Stage, Sonic Cell, and B4Real files
Artemiy, whatever happened with the patch converter? I'm sure there are a lot of Stage users that would love to have something like this.

Re: System menu -> keyboard velocity sens NOT saved!
Just noticed this posting. Yes, I have exactly the same issue on my Juno Stage.

system change not saving
Earlier today, I made a change in the System menu (Menu-System-Keyboard-Velocity Sensitivity). I then selected Write to save the changes. The change is very noticeable. However, when I power off the keyboard, and turn it back on, the changes are not saved. Am I missing a step?

Re: Volume pedal
I'm not sure why you aren't getting a smooth response on the FC7. It does have a memory function which means that you may get a sudden burst in volume unless you "reset" the pedal by returning it to its fully raised (i.e. lowest volume) position. But that doesn't sound like what's going on.

Re: pitch wheel vibrato problem
I stilll haven't figured out why I no longer have vibrato on the pitch wheel. It has to have been something I did because when I did a factory reset, the vibrato was back. Any thoughts about how I might have modified the vibrato function of the pitch wheel?

Re: Volume pedal
<t>I was using the EV-5 but found that it had a very limited range of volume over the travel distance of the pedal. I purchased a Yamaha FC7 pedal, which provides a much more dynamic volume response, and on the whole is a better constructed pedal. One caution, the Yahama pedal was wired for Yamaha k...

pitch wheel vibrato problem
<t>Hey all. I'm not sure what happened, but the vibrato effect on my pitch wheel is no longer working. Pushing the lever left or right changes the pitch of the note as it should. However, pushing it forward has no effect at all. Is it possible that I somehow changed the default settings for the pitc...

Re: controlling volume with pedal
I'm not sure if this addresses your problem with setting effects for Performances, but take a look at this thread:

controlling volume with pedal
<t>I've set the EV-5 pedal to control keyboard volume (menu/system/kbd-pedal/ select cc07), but the result is that putting the pedal through its range has only have a minor effect on the volume level. I was hoping to get a much wider volume range using the pedal. Am I missing something? <br/> <br/> ...

Re: problem modifying effects in new Performance
Wow! It worked. I would have never figured that out from reading the manual. So just what did I do (and why didn't Roland support have a clue)?

problem modifying effects in new Performance
<t>I used one of the existing Performance selection as the basis for creating a <br/> new, two-part Performance. I selected my patches and created the new <br/> Performance. Everything works OK except that I cannot modify the Effects associated with the original Patches. I have tried to modify and s...

Re: Hammond B3 sound
<t>First of all, there is NO substitute for a Hammond B3- except another Hammond B3! That said, there are a number of organ patches on the Stage that I like. For a clean, nondistorted sound, I have used Preset patches 946, 954 and 961 quite a bit. For a percussive sound, I like Pst 136. There is als...
