There were problems with the Amp and Filter controls only affecting ONE of the four tones, not all of them simultaneously as it should. The lastest update fixes that.

No, you're not crazy - I have both, but I find the Jupiter's scene layer is very obtrusive and confusing (am I editing the scene or the tone? Which model/part am I editing? Surely you know what I mean) The Fantom is much easier to program.

The envelope depth control is right there on the main "Scene Select" screen.

Zenbeats was originally "Stagelight" by Open Labs. It was bought by Roland a while back - I've not bothered with my free upgrade from Stagelight 4, as I never really got on that well with it.

There probably won't be a successor - I bought the System 8 on promise of further Plug-Outs, but Roland have preferred to go down the VST cloud route.

I doubt if we'll see new plug-outs now, but I would like the Mono ones to be made polyphonic as there's plenty of DSP power in the System 8.
