RC-505 toggle vs momentary bug?
Can anyone get an assign of REC/PLAY to act as a momentary switch as specified in the manual? The Toggle / Momentary option seems to make no difference at all. The switch pedals I am using to try this are all simple, single circuit on/off 'sustain' pedals for keyboards. Each pedal has been tested by...

Re: Live audio looping? Fantom X
<r>If you mean live looping like a digitech jamman or boss RC, then I dont think so. It would be cool if there was though.
In the meantime try 'mobius' - a free software looper ;D

Peace,
JK
________________________________________
<URL url="http://www.youtube.com/...

Re: My Fantom X8 is not constantly recording?! please help
you're thinking of the brightly blue lit button labeled Skip Back Sampling.
Play something and press that and see what happens ...
Peace,
JK

Re: can this be done on an X8?
Hi everyone!
Well it was 7 months ago that this thread inspired me the potential of software looping.
After all that time, here is my first result:

Fantom, FIFA, and the drenching :(
<r>This post is a reflection of what happened at my gig on the weekend.

It perhaps heeds a warning to any others out there with a gig on in the same room as a bunch of soccer hooligans while the world cup is on.

Its also a warning to event organizers?

Picture this...

<r>Perhaps use the fantom's audio inputs?

press SHIFT-MIX IN to go to the audio input screen.

Also, make sure the mix in button is lit up.

I have been using this method for ages... it works perfectly <E>:D</E>

____________________________________...

Re: can this be done on an X8?
<t>I guess this piece is going deep into that grey area of 'originality'
It does sound very close to "Lady". I'm not even going to try to defend it.

I appreciate this more cos he uses the looper so crazily damn well!

"Anyway Johnnykeys u need to do some stuff with this ...

Re: can this be done on an X8?
<r>Ok I've had some communication with this fellow.

He uses "Mobius", a free looping program. The program is a software attempt to directly emulate the functions of the "echoplex plus", a rack-mounted looper unit.

The good news is that as a looping tool, its an extremely powe...

Re: Triggering sequenced chords with D-Beam
It's possible.
The method u would use would be an adaptation of the "trigger rotary on and off" with the d-beam.
I think its described in the live sound switching tutorial...
WARNING: it will be a long slog of programming... good luck
