How to Sample a synth properly? Artemiy? Anyone?
<t>I want to sample a few waveforms from my Roland JV-1080 and Fantom X to use on my Fantom G6. What would be the right way of doing this? What parameters should I set on the JV-1080 and the Fantom X to make the waveforms ready for sampling? Should I sample in mono or stereo? Should the output and i...

Re: The Mastering Effect
lol, yeah I will turn it off. Only thing I liked about it was that it normalized the volume across all my patches. So that no matter how little or how many notes is being played the volume is all the same.

The Mastering Effect
<t>I dont really know much about mastering effects but, what do be the best setting to put for the mastering on the fantom x? I have tried out some settings but a lot of the time my patches with fast attacks send like they are cut when played. Also it seems to change the actual sound of a lot of my ...

JV-1080 Patch Switching/Patch Remain
<t>So here is my question. The first day I got my Jv-1080 it some how had patch remain on it. Meaning, even when I changed patches I was able to have the previous patch still on WITHOUT any cut or hesitation in the sound. That same day I did a factory reset to wipe it clean so I could start putting ...

D Beam PAD trigger
<t>hmm I dont know if anyones come across this problem but for some reason I cant get the D Beam to switch up to the next pad after 5. It goes from 1 to 5 no problem but 5 to 6 it wont. Nether will 6 to 7 , 7 to 8 , etc. Anything after 5 the pad trigger of the D beam will not trigger the next pad. A...

Re: Fantom-X 2.0 live sound switching tutorial
<t>oh I have completely figured out setting up RPS on pads for patches switching thanks to all the info on the forum, thats not where I am having a problem. The problem is using the D-Beam to switch through them all. I can only get it to switch through to the 2nd pad and thats it. The only reason is...

Re: Fantom-X 2.0 live sound switching tutorial
I download his example and loaded it. It only had the first 2 pads, 1 had modulation on it and the 2nd did not. Did he make another example file? I do want to use all 16 but it would even change to the 2nd pad to begin with when I wrote in the sysexe lines =(

Re: Fantom-X 2.0 live sound switching tutorial
<t>oh ok cool, I was also reading about the switching patches using the D-Beam. I tried doing it but instead of switching to the sound I tell it in performance mode, it changes the performance to a GM2 performance. I loaded the example and tried it and it worked, but is it only possible to switch on...
