Is anyone heard of Roland releasing a video manual for the Fantom G series?
I did find some great Fantom G stuff on the web by one of the Roland Product Specialists: Dan Krisher

Not sure if this has been suggested yet elsewhere, but it would be nice to be able to press the REC button twice to enter STEP REC mode, just like the Fantom X did.

Which USB Jumpdrives work with the Fantom G?
I used the Fantom G to format my USB Jumpdrive. I did perform Roland's "acid test" and the jumpdrive failed accroding to their specifications so now I am trying to get the M-UF1G stick that they recommend but I need to order it from my dealer and it goes for $60.00. It also only holds 1gb.

Which USB drives/ 1GB RAM DIMMs work with the Fantom G?
I contacted Roland support because I was having trouble saving projects to my USB flash drive (which is a SanDisk 4GB Cruizer Micro). Songs and samples would not save or I would get a "Memory Full" error message. This is the response from Roland: Note that many common USB keys don't succes...

1. How do I assign a Phrase to a track?
2. How do I name a song?
Thanks

WARNING TO FANTOM G USERS
Do not attempt to use any other form of USB storage than that which was formatted using the Fantom G first! If you do, simply inserting the USB device into the port will erase any other information on the USB device (including any files that the Fantom G does not recognise).

A couple of questions

<t>I am using a 5GB PC Card Hard Disk, when I am using [USB Storage] I cannot see the card using my PC, or sometimes I can see it, but it appears (to the computer) that there is nothing on it. When I insert a PC Card into my Phantom X, it shows the free space and used space as a negative value in [File Utility]. Is there a fix for this?
