Re: Tuning - G loses tuning on live gigs

Interesting stuff about this problem happening to Jordan Rudess (go to: http://www.jordanrudess.com/jr/ and slide down to the 06/26/2008 Half Step Hell and a Guitar Blow Out! entry). That is almost identical to what happened to me on my Fantom X back in 2005 when I was also playing rather hard. I su...

Re: Tuning - G loses tuning on live gigs

This happens on the Fantom X series also. I don't think Roland ever explained this one and I can't remember if anyone found a repeatable way to make it happen. Here are two threads on the same thing happening with the Fantom X series: http://forums.rolandclan.info/index.php?action=show_thread&th...

Get-together at NAMM

Anybody up for a Fantomized Get-Together at NAMM this year? I'm thinking we meet up in the Roland booth around 12:30PM Friday and have lunch together outside in that warm California Sun listening to one of the outdoor free concerts, either "Mirror Image" on the John Lennon Bus Stage or &qu...

Re: Why is this so difficult to do?

The answer (for me at least) is in using pattern calls. One of the best places to learn about pattern calls is in the Roland Workshop Documents. Specifically, FXWS05.pdf which discusses sequencing. Spend a little time understanding that workshop document and you should be an expert in no time at all...

Re: Hey bassman, Tell us about your Winter Solstice Plans!!

Hey Bassman it's that time of year once again. That's right....it's time for the annual What is Bassman Doing for the Winter Solstice Question!
