<t>I´m so glad I got me the 909..it has the SRX-08 card planted inside so the sounds are really neat, then I got the 505 as a slave and also the EMX (yes I know it aint a Roland) =D together with the 909 with midi triggering so I can use the sounds of the EMX also with the 909...all in all The MC-90...

Yeah the Liquid Crystal Display starts to dry out cause of the heat inside after the years. I did´nt want to open my 505 so I sent it to Roland...cost me 125€ but now all is well again ...I luv that "little" box alot. Bought mine for 300€ 2 years ago.

ofcourse u can...it is a SAMPLING GROOVEBOX ...u can use it as a patch afterwards...really neat.

I use the USB to do that but u can sample it straight to the box if u want to

I had my midi problems on the MC-505 to the MC-909 (midi clock, start/stop and so on) I bought me an Event Processor and all works sooooo good now.

it all depends on what kind of music genre u prefer.

I do some house, trance music and I use a Quasimidi Raven because the sounds are exactly what I need for my stuff...
