Re: My X6 doesn't response to modulation wheel
Hi, Effects are not assigned automatically in performance mode. (unlike patch mode) In performance mode, there are 16 parts, but only 3 effect units. These MFX units have to be shared among all the parts. You can assign these on the effect routing page. Load your performance with the organ patch in ...

Re: Fantom XR Theatre Organ in A Box midi expression pedal
You may need to set the pedal input to send controller data. 1.Go to the Menu - System settings and set the pedal control value to a CC#. (such as Breath control). 2.Then to control a rotary effect, load a organ patch with a rotary effect and set the effect control input to respond to the same CC# a...

Re: "Sample Memory Full!" error when loading song with sampl
You should use the sample list to load your samples. (Sample list button next to pads.) The sample numbers should match what is in the mixer. In fact, highlight any sample in mixer and press sample list button will take you directly to the sample in the list. Load the sample from here. (not importin...

Re: "Sample Memory Full!" error when loading song with sampl
Hi Guys Some points to add: 1. When you load song and samples, All the samples are loaded, not just the ones associated with the song. (Would be nice if it could) Only way to do that is manually loading them from the sample list. 2. It looks as though you have a 4GB card. The fantom doesn't always r...

Re: Mint XP-50 Restore Inquiry
The battery is a regular "watch type" round battery #2032 and can be purchased anywhere. (drugstore, Walmart, etc.)Take the screws out tne bottom and replace it yourself. (very Easy) Then do do a factory reset and you should be good to go.

Re: can I loop a sample on a single pad?
You can by using RPS. Record a pattern in which your sample is triggered on the first beat (Use wait note recording.) and holds for the length you want. Then use shift+RPS button to assign the pattern to a pad and set loop mode as desired. Turn on RPS button.

Re: Rolland XP-50 Workstation Troubleshooting
The error "User Memory Damaged" is typically a bad battery as the user memory wont retain patches when the XP50 is powered off. I didn't notice any display contrast symptoms when my battery needed replacement. The problems you describe sound like some other problem as well. Are you able to...

Re: Fantom X, Creating multisamples
That was not covered anywhere in the manual. It's a poor manual certainly in terms of creating multisample patches. I'm going to have to walk through this all again and save the instructions for later use because I will definitely forget how to do this! FYI, The Audio track expansion update include...

Re: Saving sampled patches
It looks as though you are correct again. The fantom will re-save, or so it appears, all samples when using the Save All samples. You might try using the mark set feature to mark only the ones you want to save and then use the write button. It does'nt really take long to mark 60 or so samples. Certa...

Re: Saving sampled patches
No, that does'nt sound quite correct. The fantom marks any new sample or edited sample with the word "new" in the samples list. Only the new ones are saved. The size of the samples determines how long it takes to save or load, not the number of samples. (Been thinking about this one . Let ...

Re: Saving sampled patches
One thing to note is that the internal user memory is not the RAM. They just are the same size in capacity unless you add more RAM. The fantom will load all samples from user memory into RAM, then load samples from the card until the RAM is full. When power off the RAM will lose all data and has to ...

Re: Saving sampled patches
No worries here either. I was thinking as well it might be a card issue. I use a 4GB CF card that works good but I would be leary of anything higher since Roland only recommended 1Gb. Just wondering Can you save samples to the card with the write button on the Fantom? I hope you get this sorted out ...

Re: Saving sampled patches
I am not trying to insult you. Plese don't take this personal. I am only trying to help. On my Fantom, when I put samples in the import audio folder on the card the samples always end up on the card. If I put samples into the import audio folder in the user area they end up in the user area. You are...
