The battery is a regular "watch type" round battery #2032 and can be purchased anywhere. (drugstore, Walmart, etc.)Take the screws out tne bottom and replace it yourself. (very Easy) Then do do a factory reset and you should be good to go.

You can by using RPS. Record a pattern in which your sample is triggered on the first beat (Use wait note recording.) and holds for the length you want. Then use shift+RPS button to assign the pattern to a pad and set loop mode as desired. Turn on RPS button.

One thing to note is that the internal user memory is not the RAM. They just are the same size in capacity unless you add more RAM.
