Re: Integra-7 Power supply

I'm sure Roland would confirm this, but I thought they are using universal type power supplies in their products now.

Yes..

Don't "upgrade" your operating system until you know all your connected devices will work with it.

Same is true for Windows users.

Golden rule is:

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Re: stereo out problem juno stage

bugger.. I've recently bought one second hand via ebay. It had a damaged volume control, this I've replaced, and the Juno is now perfectly serviceable. Wondering if yours has a similar problem, especially as it also seem to be effecting the phones output. Wasn't too difficult to do, but I am used to...

Re: stereo out problem juno stage

What type of cables are you using, standard tip/screen type jacks, or tip/ring/screen (stereo) type jacks?

Re: jv 30 battery low

Hopefully you backed up the internal data of the JV30 before changing the battery..

You may need to do a factory redet of the JV30 to clear the low battery warning;
(From Roland's factory reset list)
JV-30 : Press CHORUS and REVERB (above INITIALIZE) simultaneously. Press VALUE UP (^)

Re: Need help loading Sysex files on Roland JV-880

Is the MIDI receive LED on the 880 flashing when data is sent?
Is the unit number of the 880 set to 17?

Re: Hot levels from B stereo outs... Internal distortion

<t>when you come out of the B outs, are you getting distortion when you don't use the KP3?

I suspect as the KP3, it being a DJ plaything is designed for -10dBu, and the Fantom is working at a hotter signal level.

Guess it makes a change from people complaining about how low t...

Re: this is kind of annoying..i dont understand

Do you have a recorded example of this?

I'm guessing that there's a MIDI channel assigned to the same one you are using to check out the presets.

Does the tone appear if you run the Gi on it's own (not connected to anything else)?

Resurrection of Octapad II

I need to bring my old Octopad II back from the dead.

Does anyone happen to know what type or size the piezo sensors are.
I did try to reslove this before, and failed. Something has come up and I really need to get the ol' girl working again..

cheers..
