Re: Mono/Poly
Sorry, I've not tried this. You're probably just going to have experiment around with MIDI

Re: Mono/Poly
<r>I'm glad you sound like you're loving the AX Synth as much as I am <E>:D</E> <br/> <br/> As far as I know the only way to make a patch mono/poly is to change its properties using the editor software, I don't think there's a way to do it on the fly. <br/> <br/> Of course if you wanted to, you coul...

Re: How do you power your synth?
I use Ansmann NiMH 2850mAh batteries and they last just under three and a half hours. Pretty stoked with them tbh

Re: Flight case ax synth.
<r>At the time, the case cost $69.97, the shipping was $55.00 and import duty was around £17. <br/> <br/> Before placing my order I asked Roland if they had plans to release the same case in Europe and their reply was: <br/> <br/> "The AX-Synth bag is currently not available in the UK. However, we a...

Re: Patches Realism
<r>@acmcp: I've personally been very impressed with the sounds on my ax-synth. The Sax and Violin have the ability for expression to be added using the modulation bar so with a bit of practice you can get some decent results from the patches. The piano patches are very good as well, there are severa...

Re: Flight case ax synth.
In the end I bought a soft case from sweetwater.com as seen here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AXSynthBag/ They allowed export to the UK so the rest of europe should be fair game, I favoured having multiple pockets and the backpack style to coping with the extra weight etc of a hard case.

Re: Using earphones as monitors?
Thanks guys, I might get some sort of in-line volume control for the earphones if the output is that high. Or maybe use the attenuator to make the balance a little better.

Using earphones as monitors?
<t>I am still intent on buying an AX-Synth but I would like to know if using head/earphones with the synth will cause audio from the main outputs to be cut? I currently use earphones as monitors with my current setup and it's something I'd rather not be without if I were to get the AX. <br/> <br/> T...

Re: Flight case ax synth.
@ Insight: Sorry but I own neither the 1750 case or the AX-Synth. I own several other PELI cases though and also use them at work. eBay is probably the easiest place to get one from.

Re: programming the AX
<t>I don't own an AX yet. I hope to jump on board when Roland start getting them made in black. <br/> <br/> I have so far been very disappointed with the amount of available information on how to program your own custom sounds into the instrument. I am not a newbie at this kind of thing either but I...

Re: Flight case ax synth.
That's a PELI 1750 Long Case. See here for details: http://www.peli.com/?q=en/cases/long-peli-protector-cas...
I use PELI cases a lot and I can't recommend them highly enough.
