Re: Switch Parts by Foot Pedal not available
This might at least improve your situation somewhat.. Assign one footswitch to Panel Inc and the other footswitch to Studio Set Up Some of the simpler parts that need seamless switching could be within a studio set. Change those from the Effects Edit page as described earlier with one footswitch The...

Re: Switch Parts by Foot Pedal not available
Changing Studio Sets with a footswitch is already implemented with "Studio Set Up/Dn" in the footswitch list. It is not seamless, however. Are you needing to switch from one large layer to another seamlessly? If not large layers, my method works well. I do assign certain parts to the same ...

Re: Switch Parts by Foot Pedal not available
Problem Solved with an interesting Work Around.
Would anyone like to know how?
Or do you already know the work around and did not bother sharing with the rest of us?
Does anyone care about changing sounds seamlessly with a foot switch like I do?

Switch Parts by Foot Pedal not available
Changing parts within a studio set generates seamless switching. We can of course select parts via the Pads. I still see no footswitch setting to do so, unfortunately... I hope this gets added someday. No other mode is seamless in the FA, so switching with foot pedal the favorites or sets or patches...

Wow, that Volca sounds great. I have no current need for a rhythm maker, but if I do want to write that way soon, I may just get it! Volca Video below... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THImd641WXk&feature=player_embedded So I decided to upgrade my Casio SK-5 with a Roland FA 08, very happy the ...

Re: Anyone using an FA as a real time live Looper?
Nope, but I experimented and found that you should create a song with the tempo and instruments you want first. Then when you cue that up, you can quickly start looping on the fly.

Re: Keyboard monitor
You have to go stereo for sure...not a question...
Mono amps never make keyboards sound good, even the very high end ones...
Recording and studio work require stereo and I think the KRK 6 would be plenty for a small room.

Re: Question about sequencer
Any editing brings you back to measure 1. Needs to be fixed!
The only way I know to scroll measures faster is to
press the forward button and while holding press the rewind button.
Or the opposite to rewind fast.

Re: Reliability Issues?
A couple of us have had it freeze from time to time during sequencing / recording. I just make sure to save after every edit.

Earlier posts have mentioned that you have to create the full song length that you want with a midi track first, otherwise the sample will cut off at the original song length....

Re: Export/Import Studiosets
That software would be greatly helpful to me for the same reasons you mentioned.
I would love to copy from one studio set to another or part to another.
I would also like to know which patches are used in every studio set .
And of course the organized way of finding tones, etc.
Great idea!

Re: Dry/wet level for parts in Studio Sets?
Only that it is best to mix down into your DAW for reverb, compression, EQ, etc anyway for a final product...but, I otherwise see your point...
