Re: Time for a new screen?

Roland *WILL NOT* replace any new screen if you live in Europe (Italy). They fool their customers telling the story that there is no issue in LCD screens at all... Authorized repair centers will charge you big money to solve the issue, with no guarantee that the new display will be the "new fan...

Screen issue: Europe vs United States

Hi all. Roland is sourcing *brand new* lcd (along with software update) that seems to be the final fix. They are cheap, also (74$ at US roland shop) : http://shop.rolandus.com/p/lcd-juno-g What about the world outside the United States? Here in Italy there's no way to buy the lcd: you need to contac...

Re: Official Juno-G replacements from Roland!

Hi all. This seems to be really a good news. My lcd screen, after months of troubles, has finally passed away! Unfortunately here in Italy I can't find any replacement part. Italian Roland service (based in Milan) does not provide any information and I'd love to know where to find a new lcd unit + s...

Re: Serial No's and LCD issues.

Today I've opened my Juno-G to check the volume pot, and I looked at the lcd board. Looking at the poor flat cable connection it's obvious that problems arise. No connector at all, just some drops of epoxy to glue the flat onto position! All boards inside the Juno are pretty well designed, wiring is...

Volume pot

Hi all. After years of gigs the mechanical part are starting to suffer. Is there any chance to get a replacement potentiometer for volume knob? I'll do myself the (simple) job of desoldering the broken one and resolder the new one, but I can't find the spare part... Do you know any online dealer I c...

Re: Time Stretching Options on Samples

I have the opposite issue: samples at the upper and lower end of keyboard have shorter/longer duration than the original one I've put in C4 key... That was annoying (and produce crappy sound on looped samples), so I created patches via Rhytm Set, one sample per key... I use .aiff files with all meta...

Create a new patch from samples

Hi all! I've just downloaded some free samples of a Vox Continental (the organ you've heard played by The Doors, songs like "Light my fire") from http://homepages.tesco.net/~david.barraclough/Vox/contisam.htm . The files come out the .zip are: a2a.wav, c3av.wav, c4a.wav, c6a.wav, f3a.wav, ...

Re: Playing patches with custom samples

<t>I thought the note duration would remain the same, varying the pitch according to the pressed key.
So, since with my Juno-G I can't:
- change a sample pitch without affecting its duration;
- change a sample duration without affecting its pitch;
how can I mimic the original...
