My Fantom-S

Pretty much an antique, but still makes noise. Tons more capability than the needs of my talents. In my old age, I have kicked the habit of upgrading to the latest and greatest things. A lot like quitting smoking (been there, did that too).

Akai Advance25

Got the Akai Advance25 for Christmas. Wanted it for use in my Airstream Trailer when I travel along with a laptop/DAW setup. My plan is to be inspired by my surroundings during my adventures for unique music creation. The hardware is a nice small package suitable for the confines of a trailer but th...

:-D
Happy as a clam with my new iPad I got for Christmas. With two iMacs, an iPod touch, and now an iPad, Apple pretty much owns me.

Artemiy -

There you go again with your sheep fetish. You should really discuss this... "problem"... of yours with your wife.

Re: Apple launch the ipad

I was underwhelmed. I already have a decent iPod touch. Why the heck would I need this slab? Apple needs to redeem themselves quickly, or they risk losing their momentum.

Re: Post A Funny Joke !

<t>So. When you are having informal conversation with someone, you ask them where they are from. When they tell you, you say "Wow. Did you know that the toothbrush was invented there?" They will usually think that you are kidding. Keep a straight face and convince them that it is true. After a few d...

I agree. NBC has totally F*%#'ed up on this one. I wish Conan all the best.

By the way. I have never thought of you as being pompous and/or arrogant. SRA maybe..., but not you.

Re: logic or cubase

Since you are considering Logic, I assume you have a Mac. I use Logic Express on my iMac. It is a very impressive package. I had used Cubase LE previously on a Window$ PC. Between the two, I have enjoyed using Logic much more. Editing midi files and recording to audio is no problem.

Re: NAMM and Musikmesse 2010

<t>I heard from a less than reliable source that Apple and Roland have a joint venture going. The long-rumored Apple Tablet is going to showcase it's multi-touch capabilities with a realistic rendition of the Roland Fantom. Those who like weighted keys will be able to purchase special lead-loaded gl...

Re: iPod Touch / iPhone Software

Yeah. The Apple gizmos are really amazing as to what you can do with them. I hope, however, that the Google-driven Android system will provide some good competition some day. Right now, they have a ways to go.

<t>Thanks for the quick reply. <br/> <br/> I pretty much had my list reduced to Xewton Studio and BeatMaker. I will check out technobox and Jasuto as well. <br/> <br/> The iPod touch is pretty cool. I just wish Apple would loosen up a little: <br/> 1) Quit restricting application availability and sa...

iPod Touch / iPhone Software

Hey -

I just got a 32GB iPod Touch for Christmas. There appears to be a bunch of music creation applications for it. Anyone have any insight into the good ones, as well as the ones to avoid? Thanks!

Whoa! I didn't realize that. There might be something to this. The Beast (#666), the 666th post from your 100th member, sheep, sheep's clothing...oh boy. We really need to contemplate this.
