Re: Using the arpeggiator with an external controller

Sad to see no one has responded to this. I am having a similar issue.. simply wanting to play the FA-08's arp along with an external keyboard. Sadly, setting the Sync to midi seems to require setting the keyboard to slave otherwise it still uses the internal clock. As soon as this is done the arp wi...

Re: Windows 10

Re: V-Synth v.2 and 64 bit Win drivers

As far as I know there is nothing you can do to get the V-Synth to work with USB midi, since Roland has not bothered to provide us with drivers. Something to think about the next time you consider buying a Roland synth. As soon as they released their new toy, they forgot that a whole bunch of people...

Re: Roland Sh201 + Ableton Suite8 arpeggiator problem + knob

<t>I also have a similar problem. No matter what I do, no matter what combination of settings I use I cannot get the arpeggiator to play from an external device. Every other keyboard I has does this without problem. Does anyone out there know why this is? I asked Roland support several times but the...

Re: Loading New Projects

<t>Never mind, I finally found that Roland, in their infinite wisdom, decided you could only have one project file in internal memory and it had to be named Internal.prj. Brilliant Roland, just brilliant. Are these synth companies living on another planet, or just so addicted to arcane technology th...

Loading New Projects

<t>I downloaded the Geoff Downes project from Roland's site but I can't figure how to get it into the V-Synth. I load it into the V-Synth via USB, but when I go to load a new project it isn't listed. If I go to import it's listed, but I don't want to import, I just want to load a new one. What am I ...

Cubase + VSynth

<t>Hi everyone. I just got myself a V-Synth and I'm attempting to hook it up with cubase and windows 7. I have an M3, and SH-201, and an Motif ES6, all of which have no problems. After I connect the V-synth, there is no way to set it up as a midi device in cubase, cubase doesn't see the V-Synth. Can...
