VST Editor - SonicCell

Hi All

I have managed to get the Plug in version of the editor to show in Cubase but functions are limited, eg cannot get to the GM presets, also you cannot open .sce files.

Any news on a fix?

Thanks

Standalone SonicCell Editor

Hi All,

I was wondering would anyone know if it is possible to specify a default template on startup of the SonicCell editor, ie equivalent functionality as per VST, since it does not work on cubase?

Thanks and hope the problem is fixed soon

Re: Fix VST integration with Cubase 5

<t>The real problem here I believe is not the fact that the software doesn't work as stated but rather Rolands' obvious contempt for its' customers as evidenced in the roland uk forum. <br/> <br/> The arrogance expressed by Roland generally is patently obvious and has been the norm for as long as on...

Re: Bad Pool - Bluescreen

<t>Sonar is now Rolands program, and like it or not that's where their hardware is going but the problem for them (cakewalk and co.) is that no matter how hard they try to say to people, eg Cakewalk Forum that VST3 is unnecessary etc., there will always be those people who see that kind of self-serv...

Re: Bad Pool - Bluescreen

<t>According to the roland.co.uk forums, it was supposedly Steinberg who "changed the goalposts" which makes one wonder what that kind of a statement means, ie., should a company such as Roland for example always expect that the standard (vst) will never change, or should it always be the same even ...

<t>Hi, <br/> <br/> I just got a SonicCell and was aware of the issues with the VST Editor and I wasn't deterred since at least Roland have provided some forwards compatibility with Windows 7. <br/> <br/> I don't know about mac platform, but as for PC, well it's fine to say "next generation workstati...

Re: Fix VST integration with Cubase 5

I think the reason is because the Editor (VST Version) is trying to access midi ports by its' own volition, which under the specification is not (any longer) allowed.

Re: Fix VST integration with Cubase 5

Hi,

Has anyone tested the VST Editor in Cubase 5.5 yet?

If so please provide experience(s) and any results.
