Im in th reverse of you im getting away from my pc. I personally like to record with a hardware recorder and export the sound data to sound forge and acid pro. About your drum situation..I highly recomend Maschine there is gonn be a learnig curve with that as well but its the best way to do your dru...

Yeah i wish i waited like 2 months when all the bad reviews came out and the truth came out. I would have gotten something that suited me better.
