How do you have it setup?? MIDI out from pc to midi in on 707, and midi out from 707 to midi in on pc??

Do the 1,7,8,9 buttons work independently??

Have you done a factory reset??

1. Turn off the SH-201.
2. While holding both PRESET and USER, turn on the keyboard. After a few seconds, WRITE and CANCEL will flash.
3. Press WRITE.

What is the best way to save individual patches (.she) to a complete set (.shl). Only way I see is to maybe load each patch in the Editor, save, then export in the Librarian as a set. Anyone know of much better, and faster way in the Librarian?? Only able to open .shl as far as I know.

Yes you can connect them to your laptop with the usb cables. I forgot the tb03 has the usb connection. There’s also a sub forum for the MC-101. You should post there for better replies.

Both support standard midi cables. Any generic midi cable will work. For the laptop you should get a USB to Midi. Any will do as well.

Just hook midi cable from MC-101 OUT to TB-03 IN.

Just wondering if the SRX Dance Trax vst from Roland Cloud is the same and the SRX Supreme Dance Expansion. I cannot find any patch list on the VST.

There is a sub section for the new MC’s. Maybe a mod can move this thread there and other people will be able to give there input.

Can’t really compare until the MC-707 comes out. I’m thinking these new “MC” units are just playing catch-up with a Novation Circuit and Korg Electribe 2. I can’t count them out as of yet because I’ve never played with one. So wait until it’s out and you can play with it before trying to compare.
