Re: Korg Krome...
M3M is a 1.6k module. The 61 key model of Krome is a 1k synth, which you can probably buy for 850 if you wait for some discounts. Price-wise it's in the same range as Gi. It has a touchscreen, a sequencer and easy-to-use drum tracks. It also seems like it should sound better than M50*. This is a pe...

Re: Compatibility with iOS 6
Yes - according to this page: http://www.korg.co.uk/products/software ... _nano2.phpKristijan wrote:Does anyone know if Korg nanoKEY 2 MIDI controller is compatible with iOS 6?
But the iPad app needs to support Core MIDI.

Well, time for a little history: High-end - corresponding - mid / low end (in the same timeframe) Motif to (nothing) Motif ES to MO Motif XS to MM Motif XF to MOX ? to MOFOX (or maybe MMF?) :D Constructive criticism: it's Yamama, not Yamana. :))) Yomama sounds better to me :-) I'm going to wait for...

Re: Will the iPad soon replace your keyboards...?!
The solo synths I buy in the future, will be iPad apps. I have an iPad2 64G, Alesis ioDock and Auria 48 track DAW app. For my music, the iPad synths cannot handle full orchestration compositions. I haven't even found a decent GM/GS/GM2/XG sound set yet. But the synth apps coming out for iPad are ver...

Re: Korg Krome...
I don't know if it has KARMA on-board. Probably not. It has two arpeggiators instead.
I own an M3m. So I'm definitely not interested. The Integra 7 looks better to me.
I agree with cello. In 2012, it's Roland 1 - Korg 0.

Re: MIDI Master Keyboard with iPad
Have you tried with M-Audio Axiom, Korg nanoKey2, Korg microKEY, etc. Btw, I recommend AirDisplay. It's fun to control Massive on the iPad. I have an Axiom 61 & 25 (1st generation). Right now, I control the iMS20 with the Axiom 61. But I like the 25 for that better. I have some problems on the ...

Auria 48 Track DAW for iPad
Hi. I bought this. I recommend it. http://auriaapp.com/Products/auria http://auriaapp.com/images/screens/ipad-tracks.png I use it with an iPad 2 and Alesis ioDock. I also bought a few of the add-on fx. The limitations to it are largely dictated by iPad architecture. You can't easily import or export...

Re: Your best synths for iPad
1. Korg IMS-20 2. Geo Synth 3. Animoog (but I still don't know how to use it). I like the Korg because it works beautifully with my MIDI set-up. I have an Alesis ioDock and the Korg works great with my external gear. I like Geo Synth because it's amazing - but I haven't tried to control it with exte...

Re: Jupiter-80 and KARMA!!! / RealTime knobs for Solo/Perc P
One of my prayers is that Stephen Kay makes a version of KARMA for Roland.
I think KARMA is the most important breakthrough in synth-based composition since MIDI.
It would be a dream to have KARMA on a Jupiter series synth.

Re: Editor UI and selecting patches
Thanks Royce. But here is what I want to do - and which was possible form the very first DOS MIDI programs, such as Voyetra. While the arrangement is playing, I want to scroll through sounds to find the right texture within the composition. While scrolling, by just clicking I want that soundpatch t...

Re: is this discontiued
Roland still has it on the website. But the only music store I found carrying it was Pro Audio & Stage Lighting (linked above). And their price was crazy.
So I bought one off EBay today. Hope it works.

Re: Roland lightweight Synth w/88 keys & full soundset?
I don't know. In America, they make me pay for the baggage too. I would love to bring my RS-9 back. It is a very under-rated synth. I looked at an FP4 digital piano. It weighs 10 lbs more. But it is light. It has a GM2 soundset - not as good as the RS-9 but ok. It has no arpeggiator or knobs. And it...

Roland lightweight Synth w/88 keys & full soundset?
Is there a Roland synth that is lightweight (<25 lbs), has 88 sem-weighted keys & a full synth patch set & reasonably priced? I've been looking for one and I can't find it. I had an RS9 and I liked it a lot because it fit that description. It's 9,000 miles away from where I live now. So I'm ...

Re: Anyone here with Roland RS-9 experience?
I own a Roland RS-9 & absolutely love it. I live in Asia now. It's back in the US. Over here, I'm using an RS-50 as a MIDI controller. But there is NOTHING on the market right now like the RS-9. It was 88 keys & under 24 pounds. If the Roland Juno series had an 88 key synth like the RS-9, I'...
