Re: Keystrike velocity and volume on organ livesets
Do any of you have a favorite liveset or single tone based on an organ that already has velocity factored into it? Perhaps also, there is something organ-like (one of the pads maybe?) that is not called out as an organ that uses velocity? I admit that I've not examined all the organ livesets and ind...

Re: Keystrike velocity and volume on organ livesets
Paulo...thanks for the suggestions. But all your suggestions pertain specifically to the SN Acoustic Tone 28, Tone Wheel Organ. The liveset I mentioned in my post involves four SN synthesized tones. So the info won't help me. Plus, your suggestions involve fine changes to a single tone, which is not...

Keystrike velocity and volume on organ livesets
I recently started using several of the organ livesets onboard the Jupiter 50, leading me to this question. No replies in the J50 forum so thought I'd ask here: Faster keystrike velocities always lead to louder sounds on things like piano, strings, flute, and violin. However, on the organ, the volum...

Easiest way to set velocity/levels on organ livesets...
I recently started using several of the organ livesets onboard the Jupiter 50, leading me to this question: Faster keystrike velocities always lead to louder sounds on things like piano, strings, flute, and violin. However, on the organ the volume appears to be a single level, no matter how gently t...

Re: Different sound on one note...
Great, Dany...thanks for the thorough answer. I am not up to speed in the technological underpinnings of the Jupiters. I have not gotten much past the layering of multiple out-of-the-box sounds, and mapping them to various spots on the keyboard. I have not edited any of the tones and re-saved them. ...

Different sound on one note...
This is just an observation...not a criticism of the Jupiter, but perhaps interesting. Since my Jupiter 50 is related to the 80, I thought I'd ask my question here... I observed a "tink" sounding on one note, the A-flat below middle C, as follows: I was playing (Jupiter 50 numbering) Lives...

AOR Piano liveset 1528 has a "tink"....
This is just an observation...not a criticism of the Jupiter 50, but perhaps interesting... I observed a "tink" sounding on one note, the A-flat below middle C, as follows: I was playing Liveset 1528, AOR Piano. I narrowed the "tink" sound down to the SuperNatural synthesized ton...

Re: Roland WNA1100-RL - where to purchase?
Trust me guys...I'd love this feature if I had an I-Pad. I generally have resisted the "Apple Collective" and have used non-proprietary things over the years--PC instead of Mac; Android instead of IOS; generic MP3 player instead of I-pod; etc etc. But having a wireless connection for recor...

Re: Roland WNA1100-RL - where to purchase?
Am I correct in assuming that if I don't own an I-Phone or similar Apple device, that the Jupiter's wireless feature is totally useless anyway? And that even my laptop can't be used to interact with the Jupiter, in any capacity? I haven't tried the wireless feature yet, so please pardon my annoyance...

Re: Music postings somewhere on RolandClan?...
Oh, the only thing we ever delete is spam. We never delete old threads. Andy The main index showing Roland-Powered Music says "posts cleaned after 6 months," implying that old posts are deleted on a regular basis. Perhaps not? Still, it's amazing so few people (15) posted their stuff sinc...

Re: Music postings somewhere on RolandClan?...
Only 14 postings there since May??? The site DOES need something! I wonder why it's not more active? Anyway, I'll go there and add a couple things. Two simple short creations here. Unfortunately I forgot to note the livesets I used, but they weren't complex. Just standard preloaded livesets. Recordi...

Re: Music postings somewhere on RolandClan?...
Thanks!
I missed it because I didn't go all the way back in the RolandClan index. The index I saw only listed specific instruments but not the music forum.

Music postings somewhere on RolandClan?...
Awhile ago, wasn't there a Roland Clan forum dedicated to music performed on Roland instruments? Was there a reason it was deleted? I'd particularly like to hear examples of music performed on our Jupiter 50s, right here on this forum. It would be nice to know the tones/livesets you used, FX, and ot...
