Expansion boards! (Sounds for JD-800 Cloud)
As I have been digging around the net looking for more patches to convert for both my JD-800 and there are a large amount of banks and patches online which can be converted to load right into the cloud plugins. I have added hundreds of new patches, many even from Roland, such as loading JD-990 sound...

Re: Any news on updates?
If doing an update can Roland can you guys please update the VST3 category. In Cubase plugins are automatically sorted by the designated category and right now for all Roland VST3 plugins it is 'Other'. I suggest it be switched to /synth/Roland.

Re: Import patches from XV-5080 hardware to Cloud
I was quite happy to find this website which converts .syx to .bin files, including whole bank files, which can be loaded into the XV-5080 plugin on Roland Cloud. http://www.difficultaudio.com/roland Which also converts XV-1080 .syx patches and banks into .bin which can then be loaded in xv-5080 on ...

Any news on updates?
I was wondering if anyone heard any news about updates to the plugins? Patch browser is terrible, can't sort by category or even search. Also when you open this browser you can no longer do anything else until you close it. I didn't keep my Ultimate subscription because of this, I am hoping to renew...

Re: Legendary Instruments: How about Alpha Juno II, JX-8P plus early string and mono synths?
Sounds good but when I was trying everything out I personally preferred the plugins that came from digital already as it is going to sound 100% the same. Myself, I would like to see more Boss stuff, they have A LOT of digital processors and pedals that could make Roland Cloud attractive to those mix...

Some issues with Roland Cloud and Cubase
Hello, I am not sure if this is the best place to post, but I don't see anywhere else really to post this issue. I am having some issues with XV-5080 with Cubase, happening on 2 different computers of mine. I can't completely reproduce it but it is giving me crashes when working with some projects i...

Re: Fantom G controlling DAW transports??
absolutely should be working flawless. On Fantom setup just make sure your in master, and outputting MTC on the midi output. Then of course, studio one must be set to receive that and act as slave to mtc.

only way is to record the samples or use software to auto-sample for you.

Re: Multisampling---New To This
I haven't really needed to do too much of that. Most of what I'm doing is just bringing patches in from other formats. But I have Extreme Sample Convertor which can find decent x-fade loops in certain patches, although that one doesn't support fantoms directly you can still import/export if you have...

Yes it does indeen, as well as ADSR, modulation and several other effects.howardS wrote: Also, does it translate the samples with loop points intact?
I use the Translator Pro version, it's the best deal, IMO because it is broad spectrum of formats available.

Re: Multisampling---New To This
well roland only supports 4 layers so that will be the maximum using fantom's. Given the slowish loading times it wouldn't really be wise to to more anyway. One thing I found very helpful was to build the sample patches in a pc or mac builder (like Kontakt 4) then transfer them to roland format usin...

Re: Need lead guitar sound for Fantom S
I'd recommend importing something via Chicken Translator because I personally detest all Fantom guitar sounds(at least for realistic sounds).
You can just do so much more with a program of 32mb in size, or however much ram you got installed.

Re: Integra-7 USB Audio - Stereo only?
This issue is a big deal-breaker. In this day and age it's not acceptable IMO to require numerous extra ad/da (even inside the I7) and cabling when 1 usb cable should suffice. But, I fear the issue is deeper than what it seems to be - likely the issue of soundcard drivers, and (on PC) the lack of te...

Anyone else use translator to import programs?
I'm using it on the S88, and I want to know if anyone is using it for the G? The G seems to have a far better setup for using samples...

Re: MV Prices...
Cane, you won't be dissapointed likely. MV + Fantom is ok because Fantom pretty much sucks at samples, it's best at rompler stuff. Then the third benefit is the MV-VASynth mode, which sounds really really dope. MV IMO is one of the best sequencer around for hardware... so many good things the list g...
