Yep,
you're right, that turns them off.
I thought that I'd suggest the easy test first.
It may be an internal defect, and require repairs.

Re: XV-5080 sound issues
Hello David, Could you try disabling the effects to determine if it is one of them? In particular, I believe that it may be one or more of the following effects: LoFi (Effects that intentionally degrades the sound quality) 50: LOFI COMPRESS 51: LOFI NOISE 76: STEREO LOFI COMPRESS 77: STEREO LOFI NOI...

Re: How to replace power switch on Roland Vk-7
My question is how to i change it ? Do i just pull it and pop it out and replace it or do i have to open up the keyboard? thanks Hi cashvegas, usually the leads are soldered to the back of the switch, they don't really leave much length in the wiring harness, certainly not enough to be replaced wit...

Re: anyone find a way to send midi transpose
Hello curtisdog, The Hammond XM-1 doesn't accept MIDI control over it's own Global Transpose parameter. There may be a feature available on your keyboard? or this device from MIDI Solutions would do the trick: http://www.midisolutions.com/evp.jpg http://www.midisolutions.com/prodevp.htm Cheers, Hanon

Re: JP8000 newbie has several silly questions
So, my questions are: 1) Will this work (and how, if not just RTFM on p93, would I do it)? 2) What limitations would I be facing? 3) Would something else work better? 4) Can/How would I record patterns into the sequencer from the sound module and save them as a performance Hello Somatosis, Congratu...

1 question what software would you need to record live playing from my di into computer? Hello steviedisco, You need to verify that your laptop has an audio input that's compatible with the Juno's audio output(s). Most laptops do not (only a mic level, mono input). A cost effective solution would b...

Is there a way to set up a PK-5a so that it DOES NOT send program changes? Hello ggc, I'm sorry to say that there is not. However, if you use a MIDI filter device like the Anatek Pocket Filter: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_FMBJEkaC8Lw/SLdlH-JwFfI/AAAAAAAAYJ0/8a7-DCe_MMA/s400/2957_1.JPG Or MIDI Solutio...

Since my initial post, I've learned the the Roland JX-1 uses the same slider caps as the PG-1000.
Got one from a guy on e8ay.
