Time it takes to update
Hi, I've just bought a used Fantom 8 and am having issues updating it, after going through lots of USB Sticks, i've found one that works and put it in the first USB Slot and updated, then put it in the external usb for the 2nd part of the update, but it seems to be just having "Running Update.....

Re: System-1m line output really loud...
Yeah, I found that as well...Do you have the latest version of firmware? I seem to recall that this was sorted out with the last version and that unlike the System 1 Keyboard, which has a 'Boost' function, it's not needed on the 1m apparantly. Still something isn't right about it, as well as using e...

Re: DEMORA: impressions and thoughts
I think he means, like an analogue delay...each subsequent repeat will get darker, instead of all of them being dark. So it cascades from bright repeats to dark...is pretty much analogue bucket brigade process.Tom_1970 wrote:I am afraid I don't understand what you mean then.

Re: I give up - System 1m
What have you got set as the master? In Audio/Midi, set your interface as master, then for the others in you aggregate list, make sure "drift correction" is selected...this will force them to follow your main interface...also allows you to work at different sample rates.

Re: System 1m Volume Boost.
Well, I have all the volume knobs of my gear on full, then level off in my mixer, but I find the System 1m is too hot and have to have it around halfway....not a big issue, but what I have found is if you take directly from the OSC mix out, it just blows the input of what you're plugging it in to. Y...

System 1m Volume Boost.
Hi, I know the System 1 keyboard and the other AIRA's have a parameter for turning Boost On or Off, but I cannot find it for the M version. Basically, Boost is on and it isn't matching my other equipment, so need to turn it off. Doesn't say it in the manual and isn't the same as the keyboard version...

Re: USB causes Hum Noise - TR-8
Is the hum coming from the RME or from the outputs of the TR-8. If you disconnect the usb cable from the TR-8, does the hum dissapear? Also, are you using a Laptop, as i've heard this can happen with laptops, especially Macs. People have removed one of the wire strips of the USB cable that sends pow...

Can happen with USB cables, so try a new one or get a simple powered USB hub.

Use the TR-8 (and others) at other sample rates over USB
Hi, I figured out how to use the TR-8 over USB as an aggregate device and at 48Khz. I've done a video explaining it with Logic X, but in essence Yosemite on OSX seems to be key as I tried it on previous versions but had glitchy results. I first posted it to a Facebook group and others have tested it...

Re: I have no idea what I'm doing
Could be a number of things and if you're not hearing anything, then the mixer would be my focus. This is how I would set them up. MIDI - Have the TR-8 as Master, so this will send/start MIDI Clock and Sync, to ensure all 3 work together. Midi out of the TR8 into the IN of System 1, then MIDI out of...

Re: New Plug-out SH-2
It does sound good, but can't see them doing poly for the System 1. You can guarantee that they will release a 61 key version for their previous poly synths and will load the mono's. Would have thought it will have a plug out for poly and another for mono, as well as the onboard sound engine. Beside...

Re: TB-3 won't power up via USB
Does anyone else have this issue? I have connected the USB cable and when I turn on the TB-3, nothing happens. I thought "oh what the hell, let's use the AC adapter then" and used that simultaneously - nothing happens. My computer does not find the TB-3 at all. I'm using a 2.3 GHz i7 Mac ...
