The red glue! Ive repaired 39 keyboards for this red glue problem , even wrote procedure using Awesome cleaner to dissolve the old glue..and then it hit me ,,you only have to clean up the ones that ran..and seal the others from moisture..dah..` If take a hair dryer and just warm the keys up enough ...

A little FYI for all , I am a BSEE and keyboardist also, I had Roland blow alot smoke screen on this display problem they have, the company that mfg'r this display for Roland is: International Display works /China part number: 5485SGPABNC-XXXX-X (XX ARE DATE CODES OF MGFR) the last rev change stands...

Roland made in china Juno G had a quality supplier problem, We have two of these keyboards at my church and both of them go out. The first one I replaced the display ($131.00) from Roland with there new revision "a" replacement, worked,, displays fine. within about 5 weeks the second went ...

I've had the same problem with my X6 display and trying order from Roland 4-6 weeks @ 376.00 + shipping Well I found a source for most of Roland"s displays from a single supplier, the cost of my replacement display was $153.00 including the shipping with DHL. The company is located in Hong Kong...

This is really really BAD! Our assumption was that Roland had identified and fixed the LCD problem, so that the "second generation" of LCD would last without problems... There are 2 possibilities: the first is that you got a bad display even when you replaced the first one, the second is ...
