Re: Jupiter 80 @ Super Bowl !

First rate kit with the JP80!! Third rate performance. Lip syncing, really? Milli Vanelli would be proud. And don't give me any of that crap about the venue being to big, the acoustics impossible, or the technology unavailable. You can either sing/play or you can't. Think LiveAide a miilion years ag...

Re: Jp-80 workshop with iPad editor for JP-80, is this real

Well it only costs $10 to find out, pretty cheap if you ask me! Doesn't interest me as I have enough to deal with in the JP80 without it.

Re: HELP: JD-990 and JV-80-04 Vintage Synth Exp. Card

lol. yeah that's kinda unfortunate... i'm just gonna audition each patch individually and then figure out what I do and don't want, then from there load up what I think I can use and "overwrite" everything else. do you have any idea how much the jd-800 Brass Section waveform card is worth...

Re: JP-80 Update from NAMM

...it is in dire need for some major updates. Like what for example? I have an OASYS and a JP-80 and other bits and pieces (Radias, Wavestation, X5D, Delta) but I find the JP-80 a joy to use and can't think what is so dire that desperately needs 'major' updates! Yeah, what Cello said, plus my .02 c...

Re: HELP: JD-990 and JV-80-04 Vintage Synth Exp. Card

Ok let me see if I can explain this. The procedure is really funky. You have to load the vintage synth patches, the exclusive patches for the JD-990 as well as the regular JV patches into a temporary memory slot. You can save it there replacing the factory patch. To me that sucks big time. So what I...

Re: Srx duplicating on both my Fantoms

Thanks for the reply. That's a shame but understandable so as to keep the srx sounds unique Have a good day. Easy solution buy another SRX07 board for your big fantom. Shop on eBay until you get yourself a deal. Costs up front but your not really losing anything as you can always resell the board f...

Re: Jupiter 80 wish list

The commet, "The JP-80 cannot be a bigger flop than the Kronos, though." is interesting. I have both boards as do a few others both here and over in Korgland. The JP-80 and the Kronos are certainly not flops by any stretch of the imagination to those of us that love to make music rather th...

JD-990 Stack Mode

Does anyone know on what page of the manual for the JD-990 explains how to set up stack mode. I have two of these things and soon three and I want to bolt them all together. I swear I saw it in the manual

Re: HELP: JD-990 and JV-80-04 Vintage Synth Exp. Card

Ok, just for the record I figured out how to access the JV patches on the vintage synth card. Dummy me! You do it the same way as the JD patches. Failure to observe the obvious. Select JV instead of JD. Pretty simple actually once you figure out the logic of the JD990's menus. The owners manual is n...

Well, I have both boards and am plenty happy with each! They compliment each other perfectly. Definitely a happy camper here!
