Well it only costs $10 to find out, pretty cheap if you ask me! Doesn't interest me as I have enough to deal with in the JP80 without it.

You have to load the vintage synth patches, the exclusive patches for the JD-990 as well as the regular JV patches into a temporary memory slot. You can save it there replacing the factory patch.
