Re: Help for a newbie!
Remember the vibrato may be an effect on the orgaan that needs to be turned off completely. It could also be written into the tone via PWM, just some thoughts....

Re: Any interesting things I can do with my Gi?
For live performance or project recording, you can check out all the videos on you tube about the Gi. Lot's of cool and easy stuff you can do. I love working with the live sets and the putting finished live sets on the front buttons for one button access to my FAV creations. I also have my pedals se...

Re: Juno Gi doesn't have 16 track MIDI sequencer
It's a pity Gi does´t have a midi sequencer built in, and the multitrack audio recorder seems to be limited. As a matter of fact the original JunoG has 20 stereo audio tracks,as you can assign an audio recording to a midi track . Only advantages should be sound quality and FX improvement, SD card q...

Re: Jupiter 80 velocity issue
Well if the sequencer can do it then it can be done. However that does not solve the issues that the keyboard can not sense all 127 velocity points when one is physically playing the keyboard. Furthermore, it sounds as though it does not even come close. A problem with all Roland products so far, ex...

Re: If There Is Any Lingering Doubt Left. . . .
I would not worry too much about the drums. I am sure they are there. As a matter of fact I'm guessing TR-808 and 909 emulations are on board. But it is not hard to get good drums these days via hardware or soft.

Re: Fantom G8 VS Jupiter 80
My 2 cents worth. The JP80, all though it has been out for over 6 months, is still brand new and hopefully has a bright future of some sort. The Fantom line, at least for now, is dead. The JP80 has a lot of new interface type stuff for organ, new patch setup, settings for live shows, ect..; once you...

Re: Jupiter 80 sales
Isn't funny how we are concerned about sales. Whether or not it sells well does have an affect on our confidence of and dedication to any type of product. I know it directly affects how the company feels about the product and how loyal it will remain to it's current owners. Perhaps we are concerned...

Re: arpeggio from Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf"
That sound is tricky. It was made by PWM, short decay and hard attack on the envelopes and some filtering done to a string/synth sound on the Jupiter 8 arpeggiator set to random mode.

Re: Still Have Your Juno Gi ?
Fist of all I just want to say hello again. I was here before but for what ever reason needed to reset my account. Now the GI, I simply love the sounds, the effects, the ease of editing, the layer and splitting of the live setup, the screen, the on board knobs, the Boss effects, etc... What else can...
