Pretty sure you can do all you want with Fantom Librarian ... But keep in mind some of the Fantom Xa patches are unique to it ... Although I'm not sure if it actually has any unique waveforms ... It's definitely worth the migration, though ... I had an Xa for about a week before I switched to X7 ...

You don't understand ... It doesn't work the same way in the musical instrument industry where the volumes are much, much smaller ... Its not a consumer item sold in the tens or hundreds of thousands ... Why do you think Apple is so dominant .... VOLUME ... We're talking millions here ... Not maybe ...

Yep ... Its on the touchscreen but still the same ... What you lose is the twin D-Beams ... But if you really need that too you can get an Alesis Air F/X ...

You can't make comparisions between MI component prices and consumer laptops ... apples and onions ... Even small things can have a big impact on the final price you pay ... The LCD is probably one of the most expensive "decisions" they made re: Fan-G ... and the uncompetitive price of Fan...

I bought my V-Synth Xt for $650 ... I know that's super low but not more more than $1k if that ... You don't see XTs for sale so much ... or at least I don't see them ... Great box, though ... Perfect companion to a Fantom-X ...

V-Synth XT lol I've never found anything other than maybe the pitch shifter and or some lofi effects that does anything really transformative AND musical for vocals on Fan-X ... Of course you can try, but there are much better sources out there ... The afformentioned V-Synth XT is the best digital v...

That is not correct ... Fan-X V2.0 was out quite some time before production ceased ... Fantom-G will NEVER get a 2.0 ... There's no point ... The product is dead from a commercial standpoint ... (Fan-X was still selling well when V2 dropped ... And I didn't buy my X7 until the V2 update as did many...
