Thanks for the info! One last question: are any of the sounds recognizable from famous DD songs?

Re: Free sounds for JD-XA from Axial - Nick Rhodes collectio

How many patches are in this collection?
Any sound clips available? The video is basically Nick gushing about Roland. Would love to hear some of these patches.

Re: Fantom X7 Fatal error. ROM program load error.

This happened to me. I had to return my X7 to a Roland Service Center. They were able to fix it in a few weeks

JP-50 Gig Spotting

Saw Foreigner last nite. Keyboardist Michael Bluestein played a Roland Fantom G8, Jupiter-50, Korg CX-3 Organ and Korg Kronos (61 keys). Guitarist/Sax/Keyboard Player Tom Gimbel played piano and rhodes sounds on a Korg Kronos (88 keys). Michael used the JP-50 for all of the synth lead lines and it s...

Re: Synth Legends Collection - reviews

This is a really, really nice collection of sounds. Some of the pads and strings are pretty close to the originals shown in the demos. Some of the leads and other sounds, not so much. Scott Tibbs even acknowledges the differences in the introductory video. So there you are. If you are an analog puri...

Re: Fantom X6 Fatal error, no program in Rom

I had the same problem with my X7. The motherboard needs replaced and can only be done by a Roland service center. Mine had to be shipped to California and returned. Take your keyboard to an authorized service center.

It only cost me $130 US to be fixed.

Re: I've joined the club!

Johnn, I have a 2001 Toyota Camry, which may be a bit bigger than more recent models. I probably will need to get a new car later this fall, but that is a different story. Anyway, I put the JP80 in the back seat and placed it on the seat standing up. It just fit inside. To make a little more room, I...

Re: I've joined the club!

It fit in the Camry! :)
All I can say is WOW! I haven't gotten to the synth sounds yet. I love the piano, eps (wurly could be a bit better though) and strings.

Gonna be busy learning this!

I've joined the club!

The JP-80 club! I pick it up in about a half hour! Can't wait. I hope it will fit inside a Toyota Camry!
