Yeah agreed, Ive been comtemplating selling my MOXF6 and replacing with a fa-06 just so I can use 2 EXP's in both my fa-08 and another 2 in the fa-06, but will depend on how much I need the EXP sounds as they are released. Be great if FA was a better master controller though.

I've posted this on the Facebook page a while back, so ed knows about it, my guess is if they do an update this will be included, that's a big IF.

I was playing around with this today, trying to assign a pedal in a tone and found for a supernatural synth sound there's no matrix control at all as far as I can see, I'm hoping I'm missing something but surely we should be able to assign cc04 to different parameters in a tone?

No way, hope its not EP's the EP's in the FA are fine IMO, we need srx-06, srx-04 or srx-10 to make up for some of the weaker sides of the FA.

Like it if we could save the pad mode in a studio set, have a external control page like fantom g, and be able to choose which midi channel we have sounds on in a studio set, eg be able to have say 4 sounds layered on midi channel 3.

I thought it was a musical instrument, I get it if you need a certain spec of computer for rendering or gaming, but for a musical instrument if it provides inspiration and does what you need, not so much.

No offence, but who really cares as long as it sounds good and performs well?

Short answer..not really.

We'll nothing like the 6000 arps on the motif. If you want heaps of preprogrammed riffs/arps get a motif, if you want better quality sound get the fa, IMO that is.

Answered my own question, managed to find this in the manual and looks like it will do what i need. ;-)
