Re: Why are you interested in Synthesizers?
Great topic - found it a bit late though but here goes. I started off my interest in music at quite a young age, singing in the school choir and also playing the recorder and a couple of brass instruments. We had a very nice Bechstein upright piano at home and I quickly transferred to that aged abou...

Re: SRX-98 works on Juno Stage
Cool, how do you like the sounds ?
I have the SRX07 in mine which is a very nice set and adds really well to the basic Stage soundest.
Also I must say that I really like the Stage's keybed, one of the better "non weighted" versions around.

Re: Roland Jupiter 80 a good Synth for the Studio
That's where I use mine and yes it is - to answer your question. However, if I had the Integra, which has the JP80 capabilities plus the legacy sounds from the XV/JV range AND separate outputs / 16 MIDI channels, then I would think twice about swopping that out forthe JP80. Depends on your everyday ...

Re: FedEx
Incredible, I just can't believe that !!
Here my deliveries are either signed for by a neighbor in the house or goes to the local post office/ DHL or Fedex office for pickup if I am not in.
I have never had a package sit on the step, even a small cheap one ??
Hope you can get some justice

Re: Bk-9 & Juno Stage
I would stick with your Stage, I just put the SRX07 in mine and it's a killer :-)
For your "Prog rock" gigs it would be just perfect !!

Re: Nce "Jump" patch on JP80
I thought that playing the "Jump" riff was banned, along with "Smoke on the water" & "Stairway to heaven"??
In any case, if you dare to play it, at least get it right for ***ks sake !!

Re: only 2 live sets and 2 tones is this right?
Thanks for peoples input it's made me step back and come at it in a different way. The Jupiter 80's way. You young guys probably don't get that but at 55 theirs a lot of muscle memory in the brain going on here that pushes you in certain directions. Same here .... I'm only a few years behind you ma...

Re: SRX 07
Hi people, I have something to say here about categories searching. If you have a patch in a performance, you can go in PartWiew, select that pach and press Enter. Then you will see a list of all patches in that category and even other similar categories, i.e. if you choose an organ and then press ...

Re: Stock Levels in the UK
Hi Beano, JP80 has had decent support so far, V2 / iPad editor/ Sounds, Analog Legacy sounds. I'm really not expecting a "New JP80" after only 2 years and do expect more sounds etc to be released soon. As far as stock goes, my local store had 2 when I bought mine and I took the demo model,...

Re: only 2 live sets and 2 tones is this right?
Hi Shane, Am I right in reading that you are using 2 x live sets to do just Piano & Strings ? That's 8 tones used up right way, I have setup 1 x live set which has : Acoustic piano/Rhodes /soft pad and a string patch too. That can be setup to be split anywhere and from the live set edit I can re...

Re: Gig Bag for Juno Stage
I got a bag from Roland, perfect for the Stage. Its light weight but robust that comes with spacers and an integral holder for any pedals and a usefully BIG outer pocket for power supplies, sheet music, headphones etc. Cost around $100. Its not as padded as I had hoped, so I certainly wouldn't allo...
