Acoustic type waveforms are not so good in the XA because the XA isn't for that.
Digital sounds means all the supernatural synth parts,and synth waveforms to put as a partial.
And in th synth side,this sounds very good!

It seems like everybody loves the sound of this synth, but I must say that my old FantomX6 from -94 sounds a lot better than the crappy digital sounds off the JD-xa. I had and loved my fantom X6,but the JD-XA is another world. Congrats for being alone to find your X6 less crappy than the new JD-XA....

More than 1 year and a half to gig with my rd800 and nothing bad for me.
All is ok and it seems reliable,works perfectly.
I don't have the problem you notice.

Positive: -The best of warm sounding from roland with a wonderful panel. One of the best synth on the market for that. -versatile,powerful. -a very funny sequencer. -knobs and faders are bery good in hands. -the bonus to have a audio and midi card in it. -a very beautiful synth with the synthgraphic...

It's up to me to share my experience.
I've put my panels yesterday and all was ok.
My JD-XA is beautiful now and i can say i'm really happy for buying it.

Well: No hate here,all is ok. But like i said,i spent more than 140 euros to pre-order synthgraphics panels. 2 month soon. i can wait again,no problem. I can understand how busy has to be synthgraphics. Well,just 5 minutes here to put some kind words and news about what we ordered more than 6 weeks ...
