Re: AX Synth "Country" sounds

Thanks Phattbuzz,

I'm not sure where Yahoo group is or how to get there, but I'll try searching.
Then download it when/if I find it. Maybe it's one I have to sign up for? This has been a blast of a keyboard to play with.

Re: AX Synth "Country" sounds

<t>Thank you, vampyru. Nice saxes for solos. Still looking for the country 'pedal steele' guitar sound and banjo sound. I still find it odd that Roland didn't put either of them, or their waveforms in the AX-Synth, even though they are now considered general midi sounds on all manufacturers' keyboar...

AX Synth "Country" sounds

<r>Just got the AX-Synth last week. Great board, however there are no "Country" type sounds/waveforms. <E>:(</E> Like pedal steele guitar, banjo, dobro. These are my bread & butter sounds for the country group I work with. I might have made a mistake in purchasing the unit, or had my expectation...

Replacement Buttons

<t>Stop, Play, Record, Mixer, Layer/Split, Patch/Rhythm, & Sampling buttons are one type of switch. All other buttons on your Fantom X are another kind of switch. Call Roland US at 323-890-3700 & tell them the ones you need & they'll ship pretty fast. $3 to $5 bucks per switch. If they h...

DMX lighting

<t>Hey gang,<br/> <br/> Been awhile since I posted, but have been reaping the benifits of everyone else's posts. Maybe here's some help:<br/> <br/> I run two X7's, both set up identical with lots of sequencing, often times my tunes running w/o stops.<br/> <br/> Both midi outs to midi box which split...

Hold Pedal

Is there a switch to change the polarity of your sustain pedal, often located on the side or underneath the pedal itself? Maybe it was accidentally switched. Just a thought.

Midi to Harmonist

<t>That should be possible. I do it with a TC Helicon Voice Works. I also use it on midi channel/track 15 since there's usually nothing set on that track in our music/sequences. In 'Midi Parameters' on your Harmonist, set your 'Midi Channel' to '5' to receive the midi commands from your keyboard (no...

Re: CASIO SK-1 vs FANTOM G

Had one, too. Played with a chick singer in college and used it on "Two Of Hearts" by Stacy Q.
"I....I....I.....I.....I....I need.....I need you" I was a goof!

LCD Dim

<t>kex,<br/> <br/> Did you read the post about room or outside temperature being too cold, or the case of the keyboard being on something very cold that could transfer the cold to the screen? The LCDs can be tempermental do to extreme heat or cold. I had a couple of issues just due to that. I believ...

Hey kex, read my post above, especially point #2. Could that be the problem?

Re: Alphabetical Order?

Never thought of this much because the X already files them alphabetically. It just did it whether internally or on card. I never did anything. The G should, too.

Re: Rhythm Patterns into Songs

<t>Odly enough, I figured out two ways to do it, although it may not be what is listed in the tutorial. By triggering the dynamic pads with the specified rhythm patterns, in the record mode, I can place those patterns in the song where needed. The actual patterns are converted to notes (not patterns...

Rhythm Patterns into Songs

Sorry to double post, but no one has offered any suggestions yet. I want to take one of my exitsting songs & add some of the Fantom-X internal rhythm patterns to it. How can I copy one into a pattern to put it into the song? Thanks.

Or, put the Fantoms drum loops into patterns into your songs?

Thanks,
